Absolutely loved having dinner here. We managed to get a last minute reservation for 7:30, which was a pleasant surprise, and we enjoyed the whole experience. Our server answered all our questions as we weren’t completely familiar with a few things on the menu, he knew the specials well, gave some good recommendations, and was attentive. I went for the Buffalo Wellington and was completely pleased with my decision - it was delicious! My husband went for the Short Rib Pasta and he also enjoyed his dish. They have a great wine and whiskey selection, as well as a few cocktails and beer on menu. It was a pricey meal for a salad, two entrees, three drinks, and a dessert, but we were expecting it and left feeling happy and satisfied with the experience and expenditure. One of the best meal experiences we had in Jackson. We were initially put off by the wait time for two bar seats and the initial attitude of the hostess. But the wait was worth it - the bartender that served us was fantastic. We were trying to get to the Moose hockey game and he was quick and efficient. He even gave us free drink tokens for the hockey game. The meal was excellent - recommend the beef burger. Visited with two other friends on a Friday night. We opted for the M&M and were not disappointed. Expensive and usually don’t indulge but decided to this time around. Everything was cooked perfectly. The sides were amazing. Our server was phenomenal and put up with our jokes. We left full and satisfied and had a really great time. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I stopped by Local with 2 friends after skiing. It was around dinner rush but the hostess got us in fairly quickly. We were seated at the bar which is what we asked for. We loved all our meals. They have great options for all diets. The atmosphere is also very Jackson. Cozy local feeling. I got the veggie burger which was made in house and delicious. Tonight was our very first (and very last) time dining at this restaurant. My partner ordered the bison wellington, which came to our table in a soggy puff pastry, filled with wet spinach (which added to the sogginess of the puff pastry) and when all was said and done the amount of meat that made up this wellington was literally smaller than a filet mignon. He ordered the Yukon gold gratian for a side dish, which was dry on the outside, not fully cooked on the inside and had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. I ordered a pork chop with brown sugar turnips, and brussel sprouts with bacon and sherry. My pork chop ended up being more fat than it was edible meat and the turnips were absolutely disgusting! The only thing I enjoyed was the brussel sprouts! The restaurant itself is incredibly loud. The staff has absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever, and the overall feel of this place is if you are not a local you are not welcome or wanted. Fine with me! This place is overpriced, overrated and an overall lousy experience! Do yourselves a favor, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! SAVE YOUR MONEY! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! Came for lunch on our first day in town. We were seated right away and our service was good. My husband enjoyed his Old Fashioned but I didn’t care for the Fixed The Glitch, it sounded interesting but tasted thick (like syrup). Our food was good but quite pricey. Had a very early dinner( around 5pm). Had a table right away. Cody was the server: super sweet, attentive, knowledgeable. Food came in right away and super delicious. Absolutely recommend this place.
