We’ve never seen this place not busy. Always a full house. Generally there is a slight wait. It’s a popular place for many who love large servings and a great price. I tried, I tried, I tried. I tried to find something to nitpick and came up empty-handed. It wasn't good. It was great. This atypical barfood restaurant will offer what you expect, but delivers a thoughtful menu, a brilliant beer menu, and an overall highly respectful experience. With a line out the door from start to finish, you know it's worth the initial wait. Come ready to eat with generous portions served. *What a downturn. Host was a jerk to the guests. He sounded resentful to show people to their seats. Openly. The waitress was worse. Right up to the edge of being mean. It was just bizarre. The food was extra greasy this time. I just don't understand how a place can go from being so good, to just... not. The vegetarian burger was delicious says the vegetarian that I brought, but everything else was just, again... Not. My family and I ate there today for lunch. The staff was the nicest wait staff we have encountered in a long time. From the owner who seated us, the waiter who waited on us and the man who delivered our food. All incredibly nice. The food was excellent. Came out hot fresh, and everything we had was delicious. The spicy ranch wings were flavorful and crispy. The chicken cheese steak was packed with flavor. The burgers were cooked exactly how we like them. Fries were hot and tasty. I could go on, but you'll just have to go see for yourself! 10/10 recommend. We will be back next time we are in town. I've been going to the LD for many years. If you like tap beer, this is the best in the area. The food is always amazing. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant is very clean and the staff go above and beyond for customer service. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Sometimes, you may have to wait 10 or 15 minutes for a table but it's well worth it. The Loading Dock staff, food and prices exceeded any and all expectations. The staff was professional and friendly. Just like the other reviews mentioned, of you're a regular, they take time to say hello. The food portions were huge and the total price of our meal was less than any meal on our entire month-long trip. Would totally recommend this restaurant and would definitely be back here if we're ever in the area again. Thanks so much to all the staff. Got the sampler #2 as an app. The pierogies were terrible. It's like they were made with puff pastry and mashed potatoes with no flavoring. As someone who has made real homemade pierogi, this is not what they are supposed to be. The fried pickles were way to big of spears and the breading fell off almost immediately. The savior of the sampler was the wings. Got the ranch and they were amazing. After that not much to note. Average fries, the chicken cheese steak was also average. Same for the French dip. The experience was pleasant, the service was awesome. Hands on but not too hands on. Didn't ask too many questions but made sure to keep her eye on our table. Really efficient and kind. The food portions were huge! And for such a good price. The salad and the dressing was fantastic. I tried the prime rib Caesar wrap my husband got and loved that too. The flavors really popped. It was pretty busy on a Saturday but I'd stop in again if given the chance! Went for lunch, nice atmosphere, very clean. Prices were okay, service was very good...food was good especially the signature salad with chicken - enough for 2 meals, very good onion soup. This was our first trip to here and the food surpassed expectations! A very popular place, there were a lot of people waiting. However, we only waited about 15 minutes. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Very simple decor, friendly atmosphere. Only issue would be the occasional cold draft we assumed was from the front door and we were in the back of the restaurant. Definitely recommend you check this place out.
