Lido 84 was such a special experience. We had a 7:30 seating. When you arrive the parking lot opens at exactly 7:30 and an attendant will tell you where to park. You then walk through a beautiful courtyard to an equally beautiful restaurant. The staff greets you at the door and assists you to your table (takes your coats if needed). Once seated the real show begins. The waiters speak multiple languages and are very knowledgeable of the meal you are about to experience. We ate the 9 course tasting menu with an addition of the Cacio e Pepe (in pigs bladder) and the meal took about 4 hours to complete. They were very cognisant of any allergies or dietary issues that the customer might have and worked around them when possible. On a final note the staff are really warm and welcoming and never make you feel out of place. If I could give a higher rating I would. Lido 84 is a once in a lifetime type of place. You leave with a PHD in Pasta. I would recommend that people add their signature dishes. The Spaghettoni, Risotto were unbelievable and it’s nice because Lido challenges the ways in which you’ve had pasta before. Textures, temperatures and depth of flavors. Staff was incredible from Hazel, Nicholas, Sam, Ilaria and Giancarlo. I can wait for the opportunity to hopefully dine there once again. One of the best restaurants in Italy and the world. Food is outstanding and please don’t forget those order the pasta cooked in the pig’s bladder!
