I had really high hopes for this place. I knew going in that it was a little pricey, but I was okay with that. I expected the service, food and atmosphere to compliment those prices, but I was let down in that regard. When first walking in, you are greeted with a very loud sound of people talking, echoing throughout the place. I am not sure the fix, but maybe acoustic ceiling tiles to absorb the sound? Luckily we were placed in the back near the restroom, which offered a small amount of relief in sound, and it was starting to get less crowded, so that helped a little bit. We probably got used to it after awhile as well. I read several good things about the hamburgers, and I was in a hamburger mood, so I ordered the California Burger, as it comes, medium. My wife ordered the classic burger, well done, to share with our granddaughter, no onion jam. My burger and her burger came out first. My fries were already just warm. My wife was concerned when I gave a fry to my grand-daughter that it might be too hot. Far from it. Her fries were hot, but not mine. Neither was my burger. It wasn't cold though, so I still ate it. Her burger was supposed to have lettuce, tomatoes, etc, but had none of that. Our food was delivered by people other than our waitress, and for the 4 of us that ordered entrees, they came out at different times. Our waitress did not come back to check on us after the food had been delivered. I don't think she came back until we were done. My hamburger was good, but not great, albeit almost cold, or else you might see 3 stars from me. Four entrees and a glass of wine, and one passion fruit iced tea, $88.
