We visited the more popular Lechonera El Rancho original 1 hour earlier. I have to say Los Amigos was better in every way except scenery. But, you can't taste the scenery. The food at Los Amigos was more flavorful than the other place. I would definitely come back here and not bother driving a couple of miles up the hill. Keep up the good work. Good food. It gets very busy at times. The food is more expensive than other places. I also went to guavate and spend about 20 dollars less for 5 of us for the same food. The food here was fantastic. Sorry for not posting my plate. I was hungry. I started eating and was half way through before I realized I hadn’t taken a photo of my plate. I had a plate of yellow rice with gandules, roasted pork and yuca. I absolutely recommend getting a meal here. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Puerto Rico. This was my first experience with Lechon anywhere. I was blown away with everything about my dining experience. The food was amazing and everything was spotless right down to the floors. I only had the Lechon with rice and beans. Bring your appetite and stretchy pants!!! This is my second time here and I loved it! The line was a bit long/ordering took a while but the wait was worth it. We got a mix of different foods (arroz con gandules and lechón as well as with different sides (yuca, Amarillos, pasteles, etc.). We also took a pic with the lil pig cut outs and it was so cute. The Best of the Best all over Puerto Rico, every time someone decides to come to the island and want to have the best gastronomical experience with authentic Puerto Rican food, this is definitely the place to go. Some of the best Lechón I have ever had. The pigeon peas rice and local Morcilla (Blood sausage) didn't stand a chance In a very carefree environment and so easy to find. Would highly recommend! This place was ridiculously good. There’s a reason why there’s so many customers in line. That being said, there’s limited parking, so come early or park nearby and walk here if you notice the lot is full. The pork was so tender and the skin so crispy. The rotisserie chicken was also good, but the pork should be what you order. Their sweet plantain was a generous size and hits the spot. Generous portions and affordable price point.
