It was a good restaurant. I'm from San Diego, so my standards are extremely high for Mexican food. I ate the chicken tacos, rice and beans. They were all good. I will start by saying this is that it’s one of my favorite restaurants up north in the suburbs and they are always packed with people. The parking lot has enough spaces for people to park leisurely, eight times out of 10. You are always greeted by a host and asked for seating the drinks and food by itself without anything else impacting your experience is always five stars. I have never eaten at this restaurant, and been disappointed with the quality of the food and the drinks are reasonably priced in which you’re enjoying a great drink at a good price and the bartenders are always cheerful and friendly! You can order at a table as well as the bar! A great environment for first time dates a place after work out with friends or just wanting to have some time to yourself they have a patio that is available for bigger parties and overall a really great experience and I will fully endorse this restaurant because they make dining out a really good experience, especially for the food industry. Our server, Cassie did an amazing job! Her top tier service made for our best La Fogata experience thus far, and she definitely deserves a raise. The food was amazing as always! There literally isn't anything on the menu that I wouldn't eat. My wife and I love to dine here and we highly recommend it to everyone. Keep up the great work! Updated Review - 8/5/23: We love La Fogata. You can probably tell by how many reviews I have written. We went with some friends of ours an had a few different meals. Of course, I had my normal Camarones Enchiladas…. And my wife had Chicken Enchiladas. We had Queso Blanco and Tomatillos salsa. Everything was delicious! The service was fast, friendly, and helpful! I will always recommend La Fogata Mexican Grill! —————————————————————————— Updated Review - 6/28/23: Once again... we loved our food from La Fogata. They never let us down. It is always delicious! We got our food to go. When I got home it was still super hot. The chips were fresh and the tomatillo salsa was incredible! It is my favorite!!! I had the Camarones (shrimp) Enchiladas with Beans and Rice… and my wife had the chicken As always...
