Old-fashioned neighborhood bakery. Shelf that rings the upper reaches of the bakery is lined with cookie jars. Saturday mornings, the line stretches to the door as customers come in for donuts and coffee cakes. Kuppie's is also generous with community, donating product to help either fundraising. After a recommendation from the coffee shop owner next door, my boyfriend and I came here to grab some pastries. The owner next door recommended the “almond square thingy” (someone please tell me what this is, it was AWESOME), and we also ordered a huge chocolate donut with sprinkles — the fluffiest donut ever which had no right being as tasty as it was — and a double chocolate donut. The customers in there were clearly regulars and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Plus, for all we got, our total was under $5! WOW.
