This local coffee shop excels the national chains. A good indication of this is reflected by its popularity. Every time I have been there, I have seen more people than I typically see at Starbucks and other chain coffee shops. Also, I noticed that most patrons at Kindred are engaged in conversation with others at each table, whereas at the other coffee shops, it seems like there are more people by themselves. It's probably the atmosphere. Kindred has a great coffee selection and interesting pastry items to choose from. If you go, Kathleen does nice latte art. I had the S’mores Latte and it was quite delicious. I would say I go to many coffee bars and normally very welcoming but this one was not so much. I will be back for sure hopefully a more welcoming feel. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I really loved this place and clearly so do the clientele (it was half full in the evening)! Did not feel crowded at all given the ample seating. I ordered my favorite drink, an almond semi sweet my matcha latte and it was delicious. The baristas were very fast and helpful, I was happy to tip them. Great experience all around, I will be returning and taking advantage of their rewards program!! This is actually fantastic coffee. Not too acidic, not too burnt tasting. Latte's are fantastic as well. Cute wrap around patio and plenty of indoor cozy seating as well. Highly recommend Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
