Portions have really shrunk in recent years, though prices haven't. Everything was overcooked. The wait staff was great but they can't do much about menu quality slides. The saving grace of the visit was the server JUSTIN (2/24/2024 3PM). He was very funny, witty, and attentive! Excellent service. Unfortunately, our two coconut shrimp plates were very salty and overcooked, so the coconut flavor was barley detectable. We also had the lobster tail, which was also very salty. Joe’s Crab Shack was a great place to dinner with my friend, the lady who handle us was extra nice and helpful as well as friendly. I just can’t wait to go back and had some food again because the food was delicious and clean restaurant as well as atmosphere was very good. The server was very friendly and very knowledgeable to what we needed. We had some couple drinks 🍷🍹🤤 it was really fun to hangout with my lady in this Joe’ Crab Shack. Workers are very nice and at first my Spanish lady was asking a sweet wine- which wasn’t available at first but the manager made an extra order to make sure we got what we wanted. Thanks for the service at Joe’crab shack teams. I’m giving them a five star rating and review because they deserve it. Also this Joe’s Crab Shack is very close to mega theater movies which make it very interesting attraction to restaurant. Haven’t been to a Joe’s in so long since they closed down many in Houston Texas but I’m very happy to say they are still thriving in Utah and is a reliable seafood restaurant. I always get the steam pots with extra shrimp and snow crab clusters Ragin Cajun flavor is the best with extra butter and everything was cooked well and seasoned well. The crab nachos appetizer was surprisingly good too. It was loaded! Slightly bummed they didn’t have any birthday specials for my fiancée ( you have to sign up for some kind of email rewards) but still a nostalgic time and food was on point. The service was a little slow from our waitress and it was not very busy. Restaurant is cute as usual. Everything was clean. And the staff did check on us. My party and I arrived at 5:00pm we didn’t leave until 8:30pm. The food didn’t arrive until 6:30pm. It took about 1.5 hours to have our check brought to us. I highly recommend the staff needing simple training on how to right checks so they don’t mess up orders. I mean one two fine, but over 5 is ridiculous. The food was great. We asked for another server and we were not given one. I am debating coming back here again. I’m very disappointed. I have been coming for years. Needs new management or some major training. If I'm going out to eat I'm going to Joe's! I love the food and the helpful, friendly servers. Management is awesome and great selection on the menu. Very good! The best Joe’s Crab Shack I been too. A lot of room and friendly staff and the juicy cajun boil! Omg! A lot of food. Next time I’m sharing this with hubby! We got one of our own and didn’t finish it all. Their was so much food we end up in a food coma lol 😆 so we’ll be back when we are in town! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First time here in about 15 years. We had a large party. All the staff we interacted with were awesome! Our sever was on top of everything (again we had a large party so I could understand if he wasn’t). Sadly the food was just ‘okay’. Everyone felt the same way about their food. Seemed very over cooked. I ordered the coconut shrimp, it was a little too crispy. I will say the drinks were yummy! We were celebrating a sweet 16 birthday, the staff did great at embarrassing him (in a good way). They have an indoor play place but it was closed for some reason. Was so fun eating there and the food was amazing 👏 get the artichoke dip, you will absolutely love it.. fun non alcoholic drinks with fun light up cups you can take home .. corn, and crab on point just wish potatoes were seasoned. Custumer service was so amazing And kind. Manager even put on gloves to show us how to Crack crab 🥰 overall im so happy today after going and grateful for fun places still..
