This place should be near the top of search results. Very good food, American with a Southern lean, owner cruises the dining room, most accomadating. Light batter on fried foods, nice portions, good salads, seafood. All your favorites. (mine anyway) Doesn't look like much, it's in a former franchise of some sort, but worth a visit. Just had lunch at this rare find. How many ownner/ managers come round to each table to enquire about their guests satisfaction! How many servers recall the bund cake that their employer made specially for her birthday, and how many restaurants do you discover by chance, on a road trip to the lake, and swear that you will be back, even if you are not planning to visit the area. The owner is almost always there and making sure everything is right. My favorite is the reddish - not overseasoned and very flavorful. The loaded fries appetizer is a meal iteslf.
