A Culinary Gem with Exceptional Service: Iron Horse America Bar Grill Review
Nestled in Lee's Summit, Missouri, Iron Horse America Bar Grill is a culinary gem that delivers an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment you step through the doors, you're greeted with a cheerful and joyful atmosphere that sets the stage for an exceptional meal.
The menu boasts an array of tantalizing options, each expertly crafted to perfection. The nachos, generously topped with flavorful ingredients on every chip, set the tone for what's to come. The blackened salmon sandwich and barbecue bacon hamburger are standout dishes, bursting with bold flavors that leave a lasting impression. Not to be missed is the brisket barbecue sauce, which adds a delicious twist to the hamburger, elevating it to new heights of culinary delight.
However, it's not just the food that shines at Iron Horse. The service provided by Haley, our attentive server, was truly outstanding. From start to finish, she went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Despite being busy, Haley made us feel like we were her only table, answering our questions with ease and catering to our needs with genuine warmth and professionalism. Her attention to detail and care for our dining experience, including our children, made our visit truly memorable.
What sets Iron Horse apart is not only the delicious food and impeccable service but also the genuine hospitality that permeates every aspect of the restaurant. Even the manager took the time to engage with our son, further exemplifying the welcoming atmosphere and customer-focused ethos of Iron Horse.
In conclusion, Iron Horse America Bar Grill is a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts seeking an unforgettable culinary journey. With its delectable dishes, cheerful ambiance, and top-notch service, it's no wonder that Iron Horse has earned its place at 4.7 and I hope my review push it to a 4.8 where it belongs.

My new FAVORITE spot! A whole new take on food! ABSOLUTELY LOVE. Can't wait to come on a night there is music! I also plan to bring my family there for fabulous brunch. My hubby loves that you can still see the sports on TV from the dinning area, not just the bar space. THEY'RE bringing a new twist on the old, along with their impeccable food options. The staff have vibrant, helpful attitudes. Makes for an enjoyable experience! Cocktail Drinks were on point.

Iron Horse Bar & Grill, more like Iron Snail Bar & Grill! Ordered my steak medium rare, got it medium well – did they cook it by fax? Appetizers came out quicker than my drink, which apparently went on a detour around the world before reaching my table. It was a Tuesday, not a time warp, no excuse for the slow service. Overall, as underwhelming as watching paint dry. One star for the effort, one star for the unintentional comedy. Won’t be back unless I need a lesson in patience.

Our server Tiffani was wonderful. Very attentive and recommended the chicken dinner entree. It came with cilantro lime rice and asparagus. So good. My husband had the ribeye with au gratin potatoes and broccoli. He loved it. Definitely check it out if you haven’t ahead

I ordered the chicken nachos, and asked the waiter if he could assure me there was no sour cream on them. He said yes, there is NO sour cream on them. Fine, great. They came to the table loaded with avocado crema. 🤨 I know Mexican crema and sour cream aren't exactly the same thing, but they're close enough to ruin my meal and make me annoyed with the place.
I'm not really annoyed with the waiter, but with the kitchen. Waiter offered to have it remade, but when he went to the kitchen to ask about it, he was told there's no sour cream, that it's queso and avocado crema. So it's apparent to me that the kitchen didn't want to remake it. I kept the nachos after that as I didn't want to push the issue or risk my food getting spit on.
I picked at it but I am not happy. 🤨
Also, granted it makes for a killer presentation but you literally can't eat these nachos without chips and loose, whole black beans rolling down the mountain of chips and onto the table. And it's more than enough for 2-4 people. Seriously. $10 on happy hour special.
Husband's burger A+ and the great service from our waiter helped bring this review to a mid-range 3-star.

First time eating here. There was a fifty minute wait before we were sat. The wait was well worth it. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was delicious. All five people in my party were happy with the food order. The waiter did make a mistake and ordered the wrong dish for one of the people in our group. They were quick to rectify the situation and even gave her a free dessert. I’d more than recommend you come and try this place. I bet you’ll love it!

Met friends here for brunch and checked out this place for the first time. I was very pleased with the whole experience. Not only was everything delicious the service was top tier. Our server Anthony was an absolute pleasure. He was very attentive and had a great spirit. When we noticed the French toast was low, the lady attending the buffet told us there would be some up soon and she'd let us know when. She definitely did and the French toast was amazingly fresh with the warm whiskey syrup. And those mimosas weren't weak at all. I'll definitely be back again.

Stopped at ‘Iron Horse Bar & Grill’ for a late dinner, based on Google reviews of restaurants in the area. We were not disappointed.
Ordered the ‘Smoked Brisket Plate’ and ‘Brisket Quesadilla.’ The brisket plate was tender and just right. The accompanying barbecue sauce was flavorful, mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth, and the glazed Carrots were just right.
The quesadilla was well prepared - filled with tender brisket and Jack cheese and topped with a fresh garnish. The accompanying pico de gallo was fresh, served along side sour cream and salsa. The salsa was very good.
The bar area featured several large TV screens and a unique and very well done beverage and glassware display which utilized LED lighting.
Good selection of draft and bottled beers as well as wines and spirits.

This quickly became one of our favorite restaurants. The food, drinks and service are great. The prices are quite reasonable for the high quality. We have visited a number of times and never been dissatisfied. Our last visit held a pleasant surprise for us. My wife and I were both feeling a bit down and decided we would treat ourselves to a visit to Iron Horse. We happened to get a new server by the name of Alexandra. Her pleasant smile and helpful, attentive service literally turned our day around!

Tiffany made our first experience great. She was friendly and very and knowledgeable the: of the menu. I had the Blackened Cajun salmon and shrimp; cousins had the fish and chips and the other on brisket. All the food was delicious. I highly recommend and will return.
