One of our most favorite sandwich places is Ike’s sandwich shops. We have come here a lot of times. I think i love their versatile menu and how many choices they have for vegetarians and vegans. Their World famous Dutch crunch bread is my favorite choice for my sandwich. It tastes so good. My husband usually orders Friday the 13th. For vegetarian they have vegan chicken, vegan beef, eggplant, vegan bacon in sandwiches almost 20 varieties. I love their James and Giant peach and Barbette, even though I have tried a couple more and also loved it. I also recommend getting their freebies with dirty sauce. It’s so good. They have cool names for their sandwiches too. I also like their Voodoo flavored chips and Mandarin, cardamom and turmeric drink. I'm not a local to RR, and my mom and I happen to stumble upon this place while doing shopping in the area. This food is AMAZING. Definitely not your typical sandwich place. So many choices to choose from and they all look good. You get your money worth. I sent a Pic of the menu to my husband to see if he wanted to try one for his lunch the next day. Even he loved it. With Dutch Crunch bread that simply delights, And Halal Chicken that perfectly bites. Each sandwich a joy, a feast to savor, Filled with flavors we all can favor. In the back, find a playground with cheer, Where kids can laugh and play near. A perfect spot for fun under the sun, With tasty sandwiches for everyone. Consider sharing, they're quite large indeed, A single sandwich is more than you need. Number 9, "[name of the girl I’m dating]," it's quite the fame, With every bite, you'll be glad you came. I was absolutely blown away of all the vegan and vegetarian sandwiches they had to offer. I didn’t even know this place was around and I randomly found it. I’m not a huge fan of imitation meats, so I got the artichoke and onion number 61 without provolone and it was honestly really good, the guy that was working suggested I get that and I’m glad I did now I want to go back in try some of the other ones including the one with imitation chicken and imitation meatballs. I was excited to find out that I didn’t have to travel to Wolf Ranch to get an Ike’s sandwich! I went during the Thanksgiving season and ordered the vegan 219. Fall’ing for Ike sandwich. It was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! I didn’t like the fountain lemonade though but who cares about that? The sandwich made up for it. The staff were polite and the restaurant was clean. The sandwiches are pricey to me but it was large enough to make 2 meals. I will DEFINITELY go back!!! ❤️. Was super excited to try this place as I haven’t had Dutch bread in 10 years! Great environment walking in, friendly staff & clean. With tons of sandwich choices on the wall I was excited to try some of these “award” winning sandwiches. Prices looked steep but I figured they are just stacked with meat. After tipping and getting just an 18. Matt Cain I was 16$ in. Received my sandwich quickly and was pumped. Opened it starving ready to throw the munch and it only had 1 thin slice of each protein. The bread was great, but 14$(for the sandwich) this is really steep pricing for not a lot of meat.
