Took forever for our food to get to our table 1hr 20min later I get my appetizer chicken strips burnt and blown out mozzarella sticks. 30mins later our food. Wasn’t even busy. Server “Donald” is extremely weird. He was invading my personal space and kept bringing his hand towards me as I was talking to him. I told him to stop but he got aggressive. I made a complaint to the manager Brian but he didn’t do anything. He would not even tell me his own or Donald’s full name. I also think he is a racist as he kept going to all tables but ours. He did not take our order for 45min. I went and talked to the person at front desk and she even told Donald to take our order but Donald didn’t come ever! When I went to request again, he started doing the weird thing with his hand and told me to shut up. I have made a complaint at ihops website already. I will be calling the police. IHOP needs to have better quality or at least reasonable servers Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Was told it would be an hour wait to get any food at 8pm last night. Several tables hadn't been cleared and it just looked like we were walking into a dumpster fire. My sons really wanted this for dinner but that rude awakening had us going to Willie's down the road where the service was top notch. Let's get it together, team. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

My server was great! The food tasted great, and was out quickly. But there was another server named Ari that kept distracting other servers, running around with the same dirty dish in her hand, and was overall very LOUD and ANNOYING to be around. I get that being sat closer to the kitchen you are bound to be closer to general noise, but she was very unnecessarily loud. This restaurant would be much better off without her constant yapping. Ordered our food and after my husband food was ready the cooks tell our server that they don't have waffles. So waiting the whole time so ordered something else and watched my husband eat his food so it wouldn't get cold. Spoke to manager and she apologized but didn't try to make it right just I'm sorry I'll talk to the staff. Now I know why the place was empty at 8am. This location felt newer and brighter. Service was excellent and friendly. To-go boxes had two tiers/compartments separating different parts of a breakfast. I will definitely frequent this location more often. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This restaurant is filthy. I set about 30 mins and no one had sweep the trash that was on the floor before I walked in. There are nats flying around. On the menu it’s stated as fresh broccoli but you can tell the broccoli is old. It had mold on it. It’s was black and very soft. Just flew in then drove from Hobby and stopped by because it is one of the only place around Katy open after 10:00PM. We were the only guests in the whole restaurant. Our server was very nice and took our drink order. Cold brew coffee for me and chocolate milk for my guest. We were told the water was cross wired in the machine and was carbonated so they were not serving water. I was given 3 vanilla creamers for my coffee and after tasting it I requested to have another served black because it was off. The plain was no better, it tasted terrible, burned or worse. Opted for a sprite to replace. We ordered our meals, mine was the Split decision breakfast with an additional side of hash browns. Guest ordered big steak omelette and requested the hash browns served as a side instead of inside the omelette and New York Cheesecake Pancakes. Food came out and initially tasted ok for me until I got to the hash browns. They were very hard and chewy and did not taste fresh. The French toast was good, eggs cooked as I requested, the sausage links were good. I thought the bacon to be dry and hard to chew. Guest had the same experience with the dry chewy hash browns side but also had hash browns inside the omelette which was requested to be omitted. The omelette had a lot of mushrooms but not much steak. The strawberry cheesecake pancakes were supposed to have cheesecake chunks in them but did not. It was just a strawberry sauce topping. It has been a long time since I had been to an IHOP and was not use to seeing hash browns in square or rectangle form. Our server got the manager who came to the table to apologize and continued on with answers to some questions. He disclosed that the hash browns are always square now and blamed someone before his shift for their quality. That confirmed my suspicion that they were not fresh. He said he would remove the hash browns from the bill and would also remove the coffee. He had the kitchen make two orders of crispy breakfast potatoes. He claimed that the cold brew coffee comes in concentrate and maybe whoever mixed it earlier in the day did not properly get that ratios correct but he also stated he did not think it was a high quality product to begin with. Upon review of the bill, he had removed the cold brew coffee but left one of the hash brown charges. He applied a senior discount to the entire bill. The hash brown charge was $4.99 but the total senior discount was only $3.48 from the whole bill. I asked the server to see if he would correct the bill. The manager returned to the table and argued that he had done us a favor and did not agree with my request to just remove the hash brown charge as he had previously agreed to do. We paid the bill and took our remaining food to go. The wait for the food was not long but the quality was really poor, especially since we were the only guests. Maybe that should have been the warning. Our server was really sweet but I thought the manager was full of excuses. I do not think I will return to this location if I can help it. My wife and I went in around 12:30am after coming back from the rodeo, and there was about a 25 minute wait (we were told an hour). I spoke with the night shift manager and he told me that like 90% of their business is to-go orders so for eating in, there can be a bit of a wait even when the restaurant is relatively empty. For an I-HOP, the food was good. I had my usual ham omelette and pancakes, and my wife had chicken and fries. THIS I-HOP DOESN'T DO UNLIMITED PANCAKES. That was the only disappointment, but it's not their fault. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
