Nice historic building, they also explain it's story at the end of the menu. The food was tasty, and the coffee was good, although the portions are not that big. Service was fast. I had the miso aubergine and it was lacking the miso taste, I was also expecting a hit more Naan to come with it.

Huszár is a great Cafe & launch with helpful and kind staff! The place has two different venues and has a beautiful view. They are kid/family friendly!
They have separate vegan menu & various drinks and food.
As for the historic, unique building:
Cafe-brasserie Huszár is located inside the beautiful building of "Bacinol 2", the former central office of Royal Factory F.W. Braat. Mr Braat was an entrepreneur in Delft and started a plumbing company which... had developed into a large metals business that produced windows, gates and central heating systems..
Their big office was built on the Hooikade, full of administrative spaces and drawing offices. The building
built in art style of "De Stijl"* and "business expressive", with influences from the work of Frank Lloyd Wright.
*{Vilmos Huszár and Piet Mondriaan' s work}
Of course all the window frames were from own production. The main stairwell was decorated in full height with a stained glass window, designed by Hungarian artist Vilmos Huszár.
{picture below}
The building housed the congregational Social Service the 80s and went on to become a business incubator creative industry "Bacinol 2" in 1998 (the successor of "Bacinol 1")
The 21st of March 2012 Café-brasserie Huszár first opened her doors. The name is derived from the artist of the stained glass art piece: Vilmos Huszár. This special, but obscure attist has worked closely with Piet Mondriaan and Theo Van Doesburg in the art form "De Stijl'.
At Huszár they serve lunch, drinks & bites and dinner with a good story... as much fair, local and organic products as possible. Besides that there's a lot more to do at Huszár than eat and drink. Throughout the year lots of fun and exciting things are happening here...

Nice place, great building. Very friendly staff but service was slow. Felt a bit overlooked as other diners who arrived after me, were served first. Food ok - decent burger.

We had lunch at this looks like a hip place. The whole ambiance is very nice. Food was great and also the staff. Plenty of room for small and large group. Very well situated in the City of Delft.
We had a wonderful lunch! The food was tasty and the service was friendly. The property is right next to a lake. If the weather were good, there was an option for outside seating. The ambience was beautiful and cozy. A satisfying meal.

Very hip place to be in Delft. Lots of delicious food and drinks. Food was good but in my opinion not too spectacular. But still a nice place to hang out.
The food is delicious, but the price is a little bit on the higher side. The place is kid friendly, has changing tables and a small play area for kids where they can play with plenty of lego. The service is good and outdoor seating is available. I've noticed the place can be quite busy during the standard lunch and dinner times so a reservation for these times is recommended.
