Overall it wasn't a bad experience. The staff were very friendly and busy with topping things up as it was near the end of their day. They attended to us well enough.
The food was pretty good. My husband loved his pancakes, said the scrapple was decent (could have been fried a touch more, but he likes his crispy) and my roast turkey sandwich w/fries and gravy were okay. The turkey was fresh off the bird, or had that feel and the fries were cooked well too. The bread was homemade, and I love that little detail, especially being in Amish country. The gravy though, that needs some help. It was just cornstarch slurry added to flavorless stock. Salt helped a smidge.
I will be back, because I'm not a judge a restaurant by one meal type of person. Also, the gravy could be way better the next time. The staff were great, the atmosphere was cozy and had a "down-home" feeling.

We found this place because we saw a sign on the highway. We are southern people, and are some what skeptical of places like this, that claim to be homemade and such, but this place was AMAZING. The food was outstanding, and the service was top-notch. We stopped again on the way back through. Great place, great foo. This will be our go to everytime we pass through the area.
