We got the latte flight which was fun and delicious! Was a little loud for studying but other than that the atmosphere was cozy and inviting

Very chill, welcoming, and good quality place! I'd go here all the time to do some studying / personal-work :) Solid coffee-drinks and dope tea selection; I tried the Cozy Armchair cocktail and loved it! All the baristas have been so nice to me too 🙏 Syd has especially always been kind and accommodating every visit. Thanks hodge podge for providing a home-feeling place to study and chill at 😁

I visited Hodge Podge a few weeks ago and had a horrible experience. My significant other and I wanted a drink before dinner one evening. We both ordered one of the "special cocktails," which did not taste right. After two sips from the drink (important information), we informed the bartender that the drink did not taste right and ordered a different drink, which was slightly better. After finishing our drinks, I went to pay the bill and noticed that our original drink was still on the receipt. I pointed that out to the employee, and she said that they do not offer refunds on drinks due to their policy. I asked for the policy, and the owner stepped in to show me on her phone. If you have an issue with a drink order, please talk with the shift lead on duty when you pick up your order to have the issue resolved. No refunds given but we will correct a mistake we make.
I said that was fine and that I would like a drink to cover the one we paid for but sent back. She accused us of finishing the glass, and I said that we had two sips and notified the bartender that something was wrong with it. She wouldn't admit that she was lying or wrong, which was very immature and unprofessional. I even offered that they could make me a drink to-go to "make it right," as their policy states. She walked away at that point.
Drinks are overpriced and not enjoyable. I give the atmosphere a 2 as it's not busy and generally clean. If you want to spend $15 dollars for a mediocre cocktail that takes them 15 minutes to make, you should try it out. Needless to say, I will not be visiting or spending money at this bar ever again.
