i stopped here to get gas. (no signs fun the road advertising the price but it was the cheapest on the island -- cheaper than Burlington in fact). These are older pumps so you have to pay inside. i thought the store was small but the inside is deep and it's filled with s I supplies, souvenirs, kitchen goods, toys, wine, beer and a deli. The food looks incredible. I'll be back.

Beautiful drive to N Hero and stopping for a delicious, freshly prepared sandwich at Hero's Welcome and looking at the lake was a most restorative respite in a busy week!

My wife had a vegan sandwich I had a turkey with cranberry, we both loved them. The store was awesome, we had no intention on shopping but we spent over hundred dollars on early Christmas shopping. Very unique things. Bought pillows with lake Champlain charts fabric. Mixing spoons that were drumsticks for my musical niece. Then we sat by the lake for awhile. Great day!

Great place to explore gift items while waiting for your specialty deli sandwich to be made with caring hands! Also a little picnic area across the road right on the water is a great place to soak up the sun!
