Not the best fried catfish I've ever had, but definitely in the top 10%. The fish was really fresh. And they have a great craft beer selection, including some that are not IPAs for those of us who like our beer dark. We stopped by to try something different, and it wasn't bad. So the food tasted good, I had a couple of little issues but informed them about everything, and they went out of their way to make things right and offered discount on my meal, which I was not asking for. My server asked for my honest opinion, and that's what I gave her, and I told her. She was awesome and very attentive and with a great attitude, which is hard to come by these days. I hope she is my server next time also. The reason I'm giving a 5 star is because of the effort they took to take care of me. Some of the best food I have had in a while. The chips and queso were amazing. The Ruben sandwich and turkey bacon guacamole sandwich where to die for. The staff were attentive and kind. Great little spot in Waller. Burger and fries were very good but it was the staff that made it great. Jenna was very friendly and helpful. Definitely going back. ******************************* New owners have really helped with the food quality. All new wait staff from my 1st review and they have all been great. Was hoping the new owner was going to change up the interior feel a bit. Small bar in the tightest part of the place and a big empty dining area. I just doesn't have a hangout feel. We were so hungry from the drive. Finally we found a place on the way home and what can I say, our server was about the sweetest young lady. The food was awesome from the peppered fried pickles to the absolutely 💯 delicious chicken fried steak. We will be back only 45 mkns from home WOOT.
