Love the fresh bread and donuts. Recently they took down their enclosed shelving for the donuts and rolls and switched to open display square shelves that are just the right height for children to reach and handle the sweet rolls, etc. Even with the enclosed shelving, I am sure there were little and even big hands touching the baked goods without using the tissue paper to pick up the sweets. Open shelves just makes contamination easier. I will probably pick up a few cinnamon twists (with the tissue papers) when I see the fresh ones being shelved. I shop HEB all the time and the above observation will not keep me from shopping there, even for sweet rolls and donuts. Two bite brownies (my favorite) are delish and in a tight closed box and the fresh breads are really good too.

Great bakery but dissapointed me 3+ years ago when they quit baking the absolute best Pecan Sticky Rolls to be found in an in-grocery store bakery. I still get my panties in a wad everytime I do my grocery shopping every week to 10 days! Truly unforgivable!

You can never go wrong at HEB the store has so many things besides being just a basic grocery store I love that they have little stations set up with samples we were able to sample some summertime beer and it was amazing that we ended up having to buy some for the weekend I love the variety of items to choose from and the lines were not that long and I love that they have self-checkout now

Excellent variety especially if you're used to International to have a large variety of cheeses and other items you can't find it just any grocery store clean friendly if you're in the area this is where I recommend you shop

Disappointed that the writing on on the cake wasn't better. It was off center and poorly spaced
