We made a reservation for 8 guests several days in advance to have brunch there yesterday. but were taken to a 4 top booth with a single chair at the end sticking out in the walkway. It was obvious this was going to be difficult for us (not to mention extremely uncomfortable) and we asked if we could sit at the 8 top table against a nearby wall. A "manager" walked up to see what was going on and hatefully told us "NO, you can't sit there. That is for a reservation" (the party finally came in as we finished our meal and were leaving). My requested "soft-scrambled eggs" came overcooked and had to be exchanged for new serving. and one piece of my bacon was only 2 in long. A few other guests had issues with their order. Prob no fault of the restaurant, but conversation was near impossible due to the excessive loud noise level inside. I doubt that we will ever be back. Certainly not a pleasant dining experience. Please update your hours on Google Maps!!!!! Google states you updated your hours of operation 5 weeks ago yet we drove to Georgetown on Friday night planning to have dinner at Goodfolks only to find notices plastered on the windows and doors. This was one of our favorites places on the square. Always good food and service. Very disappointing to find it closed and only open 5 hours a day "until further notice". Due to kitchen maintenance??? The kitchen is capable of being used for 5 hours a day but then it needs to be maintained? Confusing. By the way, I submitted your "new" hours to Google for you in the hopes that other customers don't have the same experience we did. You were never open on Monday and then later Monday and Tuesday but your notice now states you're open "every day" 11-4. I hope I got that right and I hope you get whatever is going on straightened out so we can enjoy your fried chicken and other great dishes again. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Where do I even begin… Sorry if I butcher the name (it was so beautiful) maybe Nika-letteee? I don’t know but she was so sweet. Not only did she keep checking on me, but when I was coughing a lot because I have a little sickness she offered to bring me water because I ordered a coke. She truly seemed concern for my health. I thought it was beyond sweet…she deserves the world. I haven’t had someone care for me in years truly. Though I was eating alone because my dead boyfriend and I used to come here all the time, I didn’t feel so alone with her service. I believe she is new and whatever training she had was top tier. Thank you to that sweet girl with green eyes and the amazing food.
