I love the atmosphere this brand new food cart brings to one of my favorite lunch spots! I got to meet the owner and his son who independently run it and the conversation we had made my day. The food itself was also immaculate and delivered in a quick manner. The chicken was fried perfectly and had an amazing crunch, they definitely speak true to their name. 10/10 would recommend and ill be going again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I ate at Fry House on Dec 14th. The wait time was not too long and the person that took my order was very friendly, nice and helpful. I had the cod fish and chips. The food was definitely hot and crisp without being greasy. There was the normal vinegar for the fish and tartar sauce. For me, I would like a tartar sauce with a lot more tang in it with lemon juice and pickles and onions but that is just me, so I mainly used the vinegar which was great. I would definitely order here again. Food: 5 Service: 5

Fry House, located in the Hillsboro station’s eastern side has an excellent selection of food and great customer service. It’s a usual go-to for my family, so good I haven’t got a chance to try any other cart. So many options too I am trying to work my way through them all. #1 and #16 are favorites among everyone I have talked to. Fresh chicken. Fresh fish. What more can you ask for?! I came here on a slow day during the week, the wait time wasn’t too bad. I waited maybe around 10-15 minutes to get my food. The person who took my order was nice & patient, they also gave me extra sauces upon receiving my order. I ordered shrimp and fries & paired it with in house fry sauce. The fries were seasoned decently, I would’ve preferred them a bit more seasoned & less greasy but maybe that’s a personal preference. As far as the shrimp, I could see what they were going for but the breading on the shrimp was falling right off & again could’ve used some type of seasoning in the breading. If the breading on the shrimp were to stay on & maybe seasoned differently I could easily see that being a 5/5. The in house fry sauce really elevated the taste and tied in everything nicely. I would come here again but maybe try something different, overall I enjoyed my meal. Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The Cod Fish and Chips was fantastic! I usually remove the breading because it doesn’t have much flavor… not so with this food truck. The breading has so much flavor, it truly adds to the delicious white flaky cod. I would be torn between having this again or trying something new. The fish and chips comes with 4 large pieces of fish and well fried, crispy potato wedges. Omg!! This food was so delicious. The guy who served me said all the sauces and things were made from scratch and it definitely tasted like it. I’m a huge fry snob and these fries were so good. The chicken sandwich was so beastly I couldn’t even close the box. My brother ordered chicken strips. They were huge and he said they were delicious. At first I thought it was a little pricey, but with the portions you get that completely changed my mind. Highly recommend!! Ordered the cod fish and chips. Was not good at all. They served CRUNCHY not crispy. Had some sort of thick flavorles coating on it. You hear it crunching as you eat it. Cod fish and chips is supposed to be battered and crispy NOT CRUNCHY. No restaurant that serves quality fish and chips would serve it crunchy. It was like eating gravel. I threw it away after the first bite. Then went to McMenamins Ironwork Grill in Cornelius to get proper Ale Battered cod fish and chips that were perfectly CRISPY NOT CRUNCHY. what a waste of money.
