Sometimes you can sit there for 20 minutes and no one comes. You can easily go behind the counter and make fries yourself. Unfortunately, the quality is critically low. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Gone glory. Won a newspaper's trophy for best fries many years ago, but since then has turned into a money making machine. It's still busy (for now), but the passion for top-notch food is long gone. Slow service, mediocre quality yet still high prices. Puts Dutch fries to shame. Avoid if you can

Portions so small, Madurodam would be jealous! Stoofvlees was more like a dip of sate sauce. Save your money! Meal type Dinner

Overall good experience. The fries are very good, the sauces are also good. Price is according to food. Had a bit of wait but not too much. The Sunday was not the best though. The place looks amazing on the other hand !

Delicious place for Dutch snacks. Home-made fries by traditional recipe. Definitely worth your while. Tends to be a bit crowded during the weekends.

Ok, if you after accustomed to the regular light coloured Dutch fries, this is quite a change of scenery. But don't let the dark color of the fries influence you before eating, the fries have more flavour than what you are used to. Hey you might actually go easy on the sauce. But all in all this is a very nice spot to try the best fries from the southern part of the Netherlands. In the national test they were actually rated a 10 minus, and for all you non Dutch people 10 is the highest score available
