Perfectly cooked chicken salads, suppli and steaks are the tastiest dishes. A collection of good beer or delicious wine is provided to guests. Food City has great coffee among its drinks. This place is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. A lot of people point out that the dishes have average prices. This spot scored 4.4 in the Google rating system.

Well, I walk the aisles of a grocery store differently than most people, probably. Having been the head of produce and assistant manager also of a large grocery store, I am probably more critical. The produce department is not good...rotten onions, etc. You have to cull the bad produce daily, or it taints everything it touches. You also must check and rotate the product so that close to expiration products are in front, so they will sell before expiry. I went to grab an Silk oatmeal creamer and every single one (12+)was a week past expiration. That's not acceptable. When you fill your coolers, you put the new product in the back so that customers will grab the stuff that is closer to the expiration date and so that it gets used and not wasted. And I hate to tell you, but if it's expired, you have to pull it off the shelf. If you want your throwaways to be lower, you have to rotate your product and check it every day. Then, when it gets closer to the expiration date, you need to mark the product down. The more throwaways you have, the more customers end up with high prices. I'm retired but I would love to come and help in your store. All in all, it's a pretty good store, but it needs some tweaking.

Everything seemed easy to find. The prices weren't horrible and there was plenty of lines open, so we didn't have to even wait. We didn't see many workers, but they did greet us with a smile.

I like that they don't rush you by yelling over the intercom that they are closing like the one in pigeon forge but the prices are definitely higher because they are the only grocery store in Gatlinburg and they don't have as big of a variety as the one in Pigeon Forge. It is conveniently open until midnight every day, which is nice.

I am visiting so went there to pick up supplies for our stay. The employees were very helpful and friendly. I am from FL. , and was surprised they had all my favorites, just like being home. Clean and easy to find everything

I signed up weeks before I arrived for vacation and had an order ready to go. We arrived there on a Friday and the place was packed. But at no point did I detect stress or curtness from the very busy staff. On subsequent visits during our 2 week stay it was well-stocked and had very high quality cuts of meat. The prices were reasonable.

Great location hidden away from tourism but easy to find. Great selections for grocery of every need. Medium high to high~Prices are to be expected in the middle of tourist traps plus current gas prices and economy.

We were in town for the week on vacation and stopped in this grocery store. Nice smaller store. Had everything on my list. The staff was friendly and very helpful when the scale at the self checkout lane didn't work for me. The store is very clean and the shelves were well stocked.

Great place to get groceries in the Gatlinburg area. The store is clean, well stocked, and well organized. The produce is really fresh. They have a large selection of fresh deli meats. We made chicken breasts from the deli and they were amazing! Its not their fault but just a warning... it can get very crowded and hectic here during certain times!

Just got back from Food City in Gatlinburg. Great place for groceries while in town. The produce section was decent. As was the meat counter. People are friendly. Prices were higher than expected. I snap some pics for you to check out.
