This visit was the first time I had been here prior to the name change from The Marina Cantina. Unfortunately, this visit involved a business meeting & was more focused on that, but that is the end of the unfortunate part. The staff was very friendly & understanding of this being a business dinner. We were given the space needed to conduct business. The waitress was attentive but not overbearing when the conversation at the table seemed serious. The food came out in a timely manner & was very good. I plan to go back & try Flamingo Landing again in the future when I don't have to wear my business hat. With that being said, it is not a bad place to go when you have to do the work thing & get some food! We went for brunch on Saturday and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The food was great, they had bottomless mimosas with a hood variety of flavor options, the service was excellent. They were on top of the mimosas which was surprising but appreciated. It was not very crowded but it also not a very busy time of year for the area so not sure if that's always the case. We went in on this past Sunday and had a great experience! The food, prices and atmosphere were great, but there is one main reason I will be back when I’m back in town. Xavier was our server, but he wasn’t just our server he was the most genuine person we had met and amazing guy. He took the time to beg to know us as real people. You can tell he loves what he does and this isn’t just a job to him. Honestly I think he deserves a promotion or some recognition! Again thank you Xavier for a wonderful Sunday experience and can’t wait to see you again when we come back! The food was delicious. I went with a friend during lunchtime. The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff was friendly. We had crawfish toast as a starter 10/10 and my friend had jerk chicken pasta 10/10 and I substituted the chicken for jerk shrimp pasta 10/10. Everything was full of flavor and fresh. Stopped in for Sunday brunch. My server, Xavier, was very helpful and even got me a free sample of the house gumbo. The meal was excellent and the gumbo will definitely get me to come back. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
