I could choose 1 star or 5 stars, because our first visit was amazing, but the second visit had me feeling like I will never return. The guy with the earrings (think he does social media marketing for the cafe too) welcomed us for our first visit, shared some information about his family that owns the property and cafe, made us amazing Chai Latte’s, and appreciated our business. We left with a vested interest in this cute little coffee shop. We promised to return. So we returned two days later, but a different guy was working. He had a mustache with curls on the sides. We waited for 15 minutes before he spoke to us while he was having a conversation with a girl wearing a uniform to another business. He made himself and the girl latte’s while continuing to ignore us. Some other locals arrived (approximately 3, and the barista proceeded to make their drinks before ever acknowledging we were there). It’s like he couldn’t see us standing there. He was intentionally rejecting our presence. We were shocked to be presented with such a drastically different experience. We disrespect nobody, so it hurts badly to be treated as if you aren’t wanted, when all we were hoping to do was support a small family owned business. But, the first experience was so nice and welcoming, we’re proceeding with 5 stars for this review. Because why should one guy ruin the reviews for a business that obviously others are so passionate about such as the nice gentleman from the first experience.

El café estuvo riquísimo y el ambiente es hermoso y tranquilo. Nos recibieron con mucho cariño y disfrutamos nuestro cafesito en el patio de atrás que mira hacia las montañas.

No tiene estacionamiento, es a la orilla de la carretera y es muy peligroso. Entendemos que es comprar el café o chocolate con alguna galleta, consumir y seguir el camino.

Es el café perfecto para cuando almorzaste en Ciales y quieres el cafecito de la tarde. Después que compras tu cafecito, te puedes sentar en el balcón trasero que está inmerso en el monte. Tranquilo y ameno. El servicio del barista y su papá (el dueño) es de 5 estrellas.
