Having seen World Awareness Children's Museum, it's time to have a rest at this bar. Visit Fenimore's to try nicely cooked chicken sandwiches, Caesar salads and salmon. This place is famous for good wine, beer or martinis. You will appreciate delicious coffee at this place. Live music is performed by musicians in the evening. The staff is said to be efficient here. This spot is remarkable for its enjoyable service. You will like democratic prices. There is a cozy atmosphere and fancy decor at this bar. Google users are quite generous with Fenimore's: it was granted 4.4 stars.

Last night I popped in for a bite and some drinks with a friend and it was great! The food was delicious and our waitress Tanya was super!!! She was efficient, knowledgeable, and very personable!! She was a lot of fun as well!! Very funny and no matter how busy she was, she had no problem with any questions we had for her. We will DEFINITELY be back! For several years my family has come to the Queensbury hotel. We have watched it grow and got to know many of the employees. On Wednesday night, my husband and I had a very nice experience in the Fenimore's pub, which actually originated in the lobby. We were sitting by the fire and Tanya, who would later become our server came up and greeted us with a smile. She remembered us from the year before and asked how our children were doing. We were kind of shocked as we didn’t have our kids with us, with how much she actually remembered. We had reservations for another restaurant in town but she told us about the new menu and convinced us to stay. She was very knowledgeable about the “new” menu. Actually what impressed us more was her knowledge on the history of the hotel. She described the “culinary team” (as she worded it) as a “million dollar team that comes from all over the county”. Between the excellent service but also the meals we shared, it really put into perspective how special the queensbury hotel and their staff really is. We will be back again, hopefully it doesn’t take us another year. But we look forward to the familiar friendly faces we always run into. 7/20/2023 - My earlier review will be below. - this time was completely ruined because my date and I paid almost $100 (not including tip), used a gift card that was faulty (it said it had a zero balance but should have had $100 on it, and there was not even an apology!!). The broccoli came out cold. Both t-bones ($45 each) were grizzly. We were charged $.50 for butter. I will not be returning. My date and I both got the prime rib special this past Christmas Eve (2021). And I'm fairly sure the prime rib was so undercooked that my date got food poisoning. His looked redder than mine, plus I avoided the really red part of mine. Unrelated, the women's room was beautiful but not in the restaurant, and I had to ask for directions to find it. Are you actually joking? This was 6 dollars… 3 florets and 2 tiny tiny florets. Steamed, but not even drained so they were still waterlogged. That comes to a little more than $1 per floret. I know there’s inflation but this is pretty despicable.

Absolutely delicious!!! It was such a nice atmosphere and the waitress was sweet. Drinks and food were amazing.
