Small coffee shop in a strip mall in Tracy. Stopped by on our way to Tahoe. As the name suggests, the decor inside is very european. Lot of pictures on walls all around from Venice, Paris and Italy. Menu is very basic, with the usual coffee and tea choices. Baked goods were fresh and tasted good. We got the Dutch Girls, which was flaky sugar coated crackers. I have them in ond of the pictures attached. The lady behind making coffee was welcoming and nice. Got our coffee quickly. Good coffee here!!!! This place has good coffee but have had a couple of unpleasant interactions with the owner. I asked for my latte half sweet and she claimed I did not. Instead of remaking my drink she just wanted to add milk to dilute it, so I had to ask again firmly for her to make it again. She did remake it but with clear annoyance. This used to be one of my favorite spots but the unfortunate interaction makes me no longer want to support this place.

The grumpiest lady serves in this place. The food and coffee are ok, but digesting them after her rudeness is impossible. I just asked if my quiche could be served on a plate, since I was going to sit and eat it there, in a bad way she said no, it will be in a to go box. She has mugs on the coffee machine that she said she doesn’t use, when I asked why she said: just because. She shouldn’t be serving customers, she didn’t want me there. The definition of hidden gem. Euro star is my favorite mom and pop shop that has the absolute best chia and matcha you will ever have. The chicken salad sandwich and salmon dish are so amazing and best prices you’ll find. If you haven’t been here, you are missing out. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
