It's nice to try delicious cappuccino, lime juice or latte. If you look through the guests' comments, the staff is energetic at this place. Nice service is something visitors like here. The food was above average though not exceptional given the price point, and the service did not hit the mark for a few reasons. The latter is why I may or may not return. We came on a weeknight and were told that reservations were full for the next 3 hours; we didn't have one. Fortunately though, there was room at the bar and we sat immediately, which was nice. As we settled in we asked about specials and suggestions. Bartender then told us about date night special. After flipping through the menu a bit my girlfriend mentioned she wasn't feeling very hungry and would just eat a little bit. In front of the woman next to me, there was another menu that was a happy hour menu. I asked if there was a happy hour. The bartender then mentioned there was one; there was still 1.5 hours left for it. I felt like the specials were intentionally not being disclosed, perhaps to get us to spend more by not mentioning them. We started with a wine and a beer from the HH menu. Since she wasn't too hungry we conveniently ordered from the HH menu: mussels, frites, lamb belly, and mushroom ravioli. After ordering everything, I later ordered a second frites. As we waited, we were nearly finished, so I asked the bartender to cancel the frites if they were not already cooked. The reaction was one of contempt more than understanding. In all, I felt like we were treated differently, either because we were younger than the other patrons, we looked different, or decided to do HH instead of full course dining. I do fairly well, and I previously spent almost a decade in restaurants. The food had solid execution, but I did not feel hospitality in my visit. Our favorite French restaurant! Best date night place, just casual date, or if you want to have great French food. I've been several times and I've never been disappointed. If you're in that area, visit them. You won't be disappointed! Edit 2: Went last night and what a wonderful experience again! Lydia was the best. Shout out to her! From the outside you don't expect such a beautiful, vibrant, well decorated and parisien ambiance. The great and delicious French plates are on the menu and delicious. Fantastic cocktails and a great wine list. Corkage fee is high, so you better take a great bottle with you, or choose an amazing one from their list. They have a bar with a great happy hour menu (just at the bar!) Service is fast, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Congrats on such a great restaurant! I can’t express how great this restaurant is. We started with a fresh baguette and butter and it was fantastic. We had a delicious create your own cheese plate with the help of our waiter. The beef bourguignon was divine and the steak frites were perfect. We paired it all with some wonderful french wine and our server was attentive, knowledgeable and very kind.
