Went here for a late dinner. The waiter James was amazing, super knowledgeable and attentive. I got the lobster fettuccine and my son got the mahi mahi which was the fresh fish of the day. The mashed potatoes were very good and creamy. The pasta sauce was very delicious as well. It was a cool building to walk through as it was built in 1911 and is a historical landmark. My experience was checking into a hotel that is supposedly pet friendly and then hours after checking in, was told that I could not leave my dog in my room alone. So I was not allowed to eat in the restaurant. This is NOT a pet friendly hotel and should not be advertised as such. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I have been a resident of Ventura County for more than 40 years. This is the first time I stepped into this establishment. What a jewel of a place! Definitely a destination to check out when your in V.C. it's also kid friendly. The food was great. My wife and I ordered a salad to start. It was fresh, and delicious. We also ordered a mushroom entre, it was fresh and well balanced. Very good. My girls had the spaghetti and meat sauce. Delicious! As for the service, Tommy took care of us. Water was filled regularly, (without us asking). He went out of his way to provide a great experience. I am planning to have my wife's birthday party here. The best part of all, they had live music, which took the ambiance to the next level. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
