This place has amazing food. But I’m not writing the review about the food which is so sad. I’m writing this because my food was ruined my very rude server and very bad service. The past two times I’ve taken my family there and this past time my boyfriend we have gotten rude remarks, ugly looks and down right ignored. We go back for the food but after tonight we will not be returning. Our service was so bad! We had empty drinks for a good 15 minutes because I timed it, I watched as my server did closing sidework and ignored us the entire time. We had to wave down another server to even get a drink. And then to get charged 15$ for gratuity is ridiculous. I would’ve tipped 25 for good service because I tip 20% of my bill. I don’t not even ever see myself going there again unless the owner decides to make it right. I am so pissed off and it’s a shame because it is the ONLY place I love eating autheic Latin cuisine. If there was a zero rating this restaurant will get it. We dined in today, a group of 30 people, we had a reservation at 2pm. First, our order wasn't taken until 1:30 min after we sat down on the table. Then when all the food arrived we were missing my daughter' s enchiladas. Everyone began to eat, when I noticed that almost everyone at the table was done with their food, I decided to talk to the manager who is also the owner. When I explained what the issue was she responded "why didn't you order that first" then as I tried to further explain the problem and also defend the waitress because it wasn't her fault. The owner said "you are yelling at me" so I demonstrated an example of yelling vs the normal conversation I unsuccessfully tried to have with her. Overall, she was rude and even walked away while I was still talking. If this owner treats customers in such a disrespectful manner I can only imagine how she treats her stuff. At the end, there was no apology and the enchiladas made the table only to go into the togo box and I still got charge for them. We will never go back to this place. No vengan en un dia festivo! La musica esta EXAJERADO de fuerte! No se puede ni ordenar de lo fuerte que esta. No puedes disfrutar de la comida y tener una bonita platica con las personas que vienes. Es afuerzas de comer y estar callados. Eso arruina TODO. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1

Was treated very badly by staff. We didn't speak Spanish and at that point we're treated badly have party of 15. Mom prices so they are able to charge as much as they want. Because we ask servers price none new. Bill was outrageous amount. It was 2x1 margaritas and we tell them that so 1st margaritas were with our alcohol clearly. I been coming there off on 20 years . The food was very flavorful and authentic. Homemade corn tortillas. Delicious flavors. The place was packed ans atmosphere was really cool. The drinks were also on par. Food is 10/10. Ceviche is some of the best ceviche in Denver. We had the camarones a la Diabla & and the camarones mojo de ajo. Truly authentic Mexican food. Service was also great. The atmosphere here is nice, but the food and the service are not very good. I ordered the grilled shrimp torta, and it tasted like eggs. The server did not come back to refill our drinks or chips. When we paid the bill, it took 3 attempts to get the right change from the server. I will not go back. I had mixed feelings when we came here. I’m from Californian visiting relatives who strongly recommended this place. When I read the mixed reviews I figured we’d be treating to bad food or service but I experienced the opposite. I ate mole flautas and they were delicious. The mole tasted authentic and the fried beans were delicious. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating when we asked for an extra plate because a couple in our party were splitting their plate. Speaking of plates the sizes are big. The gorditas plate came with three big gorditas filled with tasty carne asada meat. The decor added a nice touch; it was inviting and added to the good friendly atmosphere most Mexican restaurants are known for.
