Got on the Wall of Fame. You have to eat 13 tacos and I ate 15. Tacos are bigger than Taco Bell and therefore generous. Still $0.89/ea! I walked out paying less than $20! Service was good. I waited 20 minutes on a Thursday. It is busy for a reason, though. I'd go back! I’ve been here multiple times now, and while the service and food are always amazing I’ve unfortunately been there to see how poorly the staff is being treated. Let me start with how they trick you into ordering chips and salsa by asking you first thing if you’d like it. Any other restaurant that asks that, typically it’s on the house. Nor do they enclose that you will be charged $4 per 2 people. Seems extremely shady, and an unexpected surprise when the bill comes. Secondly, I have witnessed one of the servers be spoken badly to by a manager right in front of our table for an issue that clearly was not her fault. Management needs to be replaced by a team of managers who actually care about their staff and don’t belittle or bully them As a person who has worked in both management and bar/ serving for over 7 years I am pretty disappointed in some of the things I’ve picked up while dining here Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1

The "Big & nasty" is Gigantic. They are a Mexican restaurant but the burgers and waffle fries were the best. Our waitress was absolutely amazing she was very attentive and quick. We were asked before we got to our table and before we saw menus if we wanted chips and salsa. I said yes figuring it was complimentary like other restaurants. When we received the bill, we were charged $4. That's not much money but what a scam. I had a burrito and they forgot the beans and probably the most bland, tasteless burrito I have ever had. Stopped in for the first time to grab lunch. Chips and salsa to start was great, ask for the hot salsa as well. The service was great and the kids and I enjoyed our food. I have to recommend the chimi burrito msde "Benny style" it was very good. Next time we are in sparta we will be back. 4 stars only to reflect the bland tasting salsa. Everything else was delicious! Great server Maddy was energetic, attentive, and a bright light. The bar called Margarito Joe's was hopping with business. There was a wait to get seated, but it was definitely worth the wait. Trini's is a Sparta staple for good reason. They have great food at good prices. There can be a wait at times, but staff is always working hard to keep things moving. The only thing slowing them down is the sheer number of customers due to their well-earned popularity. Avoid busy dinner times for a quicker seating and give them a try!
