Absolutely horrible wait staff. Messed up the order and shrugged his shoulders when I asked him to correct it. My burrito came back filled with cold unmelted cheese. Don't go here for lunch, it's a party place only. Will never be back. The owners are extremely sensitive to feedback. If you have a problem they will take it as an insult and tell you how long they've made this or that. Frankly I don't care, make the food the way I asked you to please. Love their Taco Tuesdays and drink specials. Was warmly greeted by bartender and owner. We been to Don Juan's several times and everything was top notch. They have hightop tables, seating at the bar and regular chairs for seating of groups of 4 or more. Festive music and ambiance! Nice selection of Tequilas, Rum, vodka, and beers. They have outside seating in the summer. Lots of choices for appetizers and main courses. Reasonably priced meals.Hope to go back soon. Came in to town from Oklahoma, We as a family make it a point to try new Mexican restaurants in every place we stay for an extended time. Picked Don Juan's based on Atmosphere and good food reviews. This place misses the mark unfortunately. Ordered 2 Chicken enchiladas plates, requested sourcream sauce was told not an option only red sauce. No problems..ordered a trio fajitas for the wife and I. Zero favor ..just not much. Enchiladas were bad..red sauce tasted like vodka sauce..was sweet and didn't marry well. Fajitas were mostly vegetables..chicken..bland..steak was tough and tasted bad..shrimp(2) of them were cooked nicely just no seasoning. I ordered a beer..ask for a Tecate was given a modela..ask for another tecate...was given another Modela. Family had waters. Got the bill..over 100.00 bucks. Disappointment..no one finished the food and walked away wondering what the heck. I appreciate hard working individuals making a family dream work..inspiring.
