It's not the customer's fault that management chose your operating hours as such, and I could understand if a party had come in 20 minutes before closing on a Sunday night, but this was an hour and 15 minutes before close. We were treated like enemies. No courtesy was offered, no hospitality was offered, no professionalism was shown. If you don't want the job, quit. If you're going to keep the job, represent the business and not how much you want to clock out. I've almost always had good experiences here, but this was absolutely abysmal. One hour and 15 minutes before closing. I can add some pictures if necessary. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I can say these guys know how to make a steak . Fillet mignon was fantastic. Service was fantastic and they are not even a mile from mom's house. When I'm in town this will be my spot. This place was by far the best dodge city steakhouse we have been too. Food was delicious and cooked just how ordered. The waitress and Manger stop by the table several times to check on us and get us anything we ask for. I've been to two other dodge city steakhouses that were terrible but this one and the one in Wilkesboro are by far the best around. Really nice staff but the food came out cold and the steaks were nowhere near cooked thoroughly. When they took them back to cook a bit more they were brought back and looked like the outside had been quickly seared and it had been microwaved....again still NOT even warm! What's to not love? Absolutely delicious food. Amazing potatoes. Appetizer was very good. Everything cooked to perfection. Waitress was very attentive, friendly and courteous. I ordered a steak salad eith sweet tea. The steak was great for the price but not as nice of a cut as I'd expect from an actual steakhouse. The server (I don't remember her name) was very professional and catered to my families needs. The location itself is well lit, decorated, and presented appropriately. The atmosphere was very clean but the service here sucks dude. A women named Tammy was very disrespectful to me and my family. You could say please or thank you for coming instead she just stood there a stared the whole time. There were also dishes that were left on tables expect Tammy never cleaned the tables she would take the dishes but then never cleaned them after. All the other employees were super nice, I did get 3 refills before I left. Tammy you need to be more nicer to your customers just saying. The wife and I end up here for lunch a couple times a month. Service is usually pretty good, and it's hit or miss with the food. Sometimes things come out nice and fresh, sometimes we have to send it back for a fresh option. My biggest gripe is the rolls, I don't know if they changed the recipe or changed the vendor they get them from, but the last few times we've been the rolls are just terrible. We had another EXCELLENT experience at DCS in Elkin, NC yesterday! Hands down, THE best food AND service anywhere around, EVERY time! Their grillmaster is one of their greatest assets! Our steaks were perfect (as always😉)...so good, that we always say it's like having steak flavored butter! So tender & juicy!! Our server was Meghan and she was so incredibly attentive and made certain we had everything we wanted or needed! It's so rare to go to a restaurant anymore and have such a good experience, but this one will never disappoint!!! For a place calling itself a steakhouse they are as bad at grilling a steak as you can get... I don't think it could be worse even if they tried. Sad part is, it's my third time having the same experience, but before you judge my judgement please know Elkin is a small town, not many choices, I will not try again. As far as flavor is concerned i don't think they use any seasoning, or salt for that matter, at all. As far as temperature is concerned see my photo for a medium steak .... even well done would be undercooked compared to what I got. I got fresh veggies that were dry and over cooked... mashed potatoes while flavorful were dried out.. I added grilled chicken which was cooked right but had no seasoning whatsoever at all. On the positive note bartender was very helpful and got me some A-One to go.. Yes A-One was absolutely the way it should be ... that is the highlight of my dinner tonight .. sad ... yup....
