I've been going to Devines for years - #1 local bagel place in Milford/West Haven area. They have a great assortment of bagels and coffee. All their cream cheese is homemade and they offer several unique flavors. Anytime I bring bagels & cream cheese into the office, our employees love them. Prices are also very reasonable.

A long time ago in a town far, far away, I used to own and operate a bagel cafe. It was located in the Jacksonville, FL area known as Orange Park. It was there that I learned to appreciate the deliciousness of a freshly toasted bagel.
In the following decades since selling my bagel cafe I have tried countless bagels from multiple cafes and restaurants. None compared to the ones I served.

Devine’s Bagels & Cafe serves some of the best bagels I have ever tried.
They offer a wide variety of bagels and spreads along with many sandwich choices, very similar menu to the bagel cafe I once owned. If you’re looking for Lox, they have it. If you’re looking for fresh squeezed orange juice, they have it. If you’re looking for ol’ boys who sit around in the early morning and talk about the weather, they sometimes have that too.
My personal favorite is the onion bagel toasted with chive and onion cream cheese because I unapologetically onion with confidence!
Be patient, sometimes the line gets long and you may have to wait several minutes to get your order. But the line gets long for a reason, not because the service is bad, it’s because everyone knows this is the best bagel in town.

I've gone to bagel shops all over CT. I'm pretty picky about my bagels. Devine's in my personal favorite. I go there at least once a week for a bacon,egg & cheese. Great atmosphere & the staff is super friendly. Seating inside & out. Highly recommended.

Great bagels, even better customer service. I stopped in last week for a breakfast bite after an appointment, and there was a mix-up at the register and my card was initially overcharged, but the transaction was immediately voided. It was not a big deal to me at all (I've made mistakes like that when working a register), but the employees were so apologetic, and gave me my breakfast and a pack of day-old bagels on the house. I shared the extras with my roommates, so you not only made my day, but made my whole household happy. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a good bagel spot!
I’ve been coming to the bagel place forever I used to come with my dad and it was so amazing back. Then the bagels were always spectacular but I recently came back. The management is all over the place dumping money out on the counter and mixing up peoples orders, the college girl working here was very distracted, and it just seemed plain an organized when I got my order, the presentation was, downright sloppy. The cream cheese was also very watery and all over the bagel making it hard to grab. IT Honestly, this is extremely disappointing since this was one of my favorite bagel places. Now I will be not returning.
The food is always great, and I come here at least 1x a week.
But every time I come in, the gal at the front is complaining loudly and continuously about the job, other staff members, how busy it is, etc etc. It makes everyone on line feel awkward and bad for being there. I have always felt a rushed and unwelcome at the register. The gal behind me apologized for needing a second to remember what she ordered because the staff was clearly annoyed with her.
I went to get a toasted sesame bagel and it was really cold. The taste was alright. I’ve had better bagels. I also ordered a coffee and that was cold too and it tasted like water. Not satisfied with this place.

First time here today after a few people recommended it. Paid $13 for lox and cream cheese on a single bagel. The bagel was good- don’t get me wrong, but not $13 good for maybe 3 full slices of lox. Just a little baffled at the price.
First time going here bagels are ok but staff is RUDE. Also seems they have no kind of system for ordering and getting your food. Staff looked me dead in my face 3x and said your order is ready, walked up to them and in the rudest way possible said “no not you!” Finally get my food and all they say is “here!”, rudely again! There was cream cheese all over the outside of my bag. Not worth your time or the attitude of this staff for a bagel that tastes like you could’ve made it at home.
Devine Bagels has an old school NYC style bagel shop feel, but we were disappointed with the bagels. The bacon, egg, and cheese is prepared before you order and reheated on top of the bagel and then lightly toasted. The toasted bagel with cream cheese was barely toasted with only a minimal amount of cream cheese. The bagels are not as flavorful as others I’ve had from similar establishments. Overall, we were disappointed with the experience.
