Absolutely delicious. The chip plantains were so so good. All the sides in the main dishes were very flavorful too. We'll come back again before our trip is over.

The food was okay. The creme brûlée was good. But most importantly our sever was great! I don’t know his name but he was kind and was constantly checking up on us - I don’t think our glasses were ever fully empty. My daughter and I ate here last week. We saw the sign claiming it is the best place for mofongo. Then we were skeptical since, after all, isn’t that what everyone says about their food? “We are the BEST!” However, our Airbnb host at lake of the octopus also recommended it, so we gave it a shot. Overall? Drinks were good. Food was hot and fresh! GREAT flavor. The mofongo was indeed fantastic… BUT the rice dish my daughter had?? Wow. We took that back to the Airbnb and had saved it for later in the evening to share. We sat on the front patio at the restaurant and it was a lovely night. Desecheo in Aguadilla is ok. The service staff was attentive and friendly. And the food was decent. We enjoyed the appetizers that we ordered. However, the protein portions are too small for what they charge. Though, the carbs portions are plentiful. The atmosphere is lively and bright. However the air conditioner is set too cold. This is not a place where you can go often whether you are a tourist and definitely not a local due to value per plate. Will I visit again? I'm not sure. As I was driving down the street their banner caught my eye. It said Best Mofongo in town. So I had to see if it was true or not. And O my God it didn't disappoint! The Mofongo was the best I ever had. So far I've been there twice this week. It's amazing food, great service and great atmosphere. I HIGHLY recommend it!!! Update 5/2/23 Came back,menu has been updated. Still delicious.This restaurant was highly recommended and now I know why. The service was excellent,the food to die for and the portions HUGE! It was just 3 of us and we had plenty to take home after. We wanted dessert but we're too full to attempt. Their mojitos OMG sooo good. Will definitely be back again!!
