I was a little disappointed how long it took to have our first interaction with our waitress. We were seated right away and then sat there for a little over ten minutes before our drink order was taken. I have ordered eggs and hash browns and they were so oily it was just nasty and were certainty not hot by any means. I drove out there specifically for the old time feel and probably wouldn’t do that again. I love the look of this Denny's! Theres a cool old jukebox when you walk in. It doesnt work but it is nostalgic. I wish they played oldies instead of 80's music. That would definitely add to the atmosphere. Our server was reserved but did check on us per the usual. One thing Denny's needs to change is calling their salmon, "wild." There is no evidence that it is wild. Its very light pink and barely a fish flavor. Just be honest, please! Yes its Denny's and its not very expensive, maybe I should know BUT Im talking integrity. I apologize that my plate of food was eaten when I took the picture but I mainly wanted to show the color. I ordered the side of cooked veggies and it was a very small serving. The rice is good, I like the texture. My husband choose the bacon burger with avocado. He said it was good. He also said his fries were not greasy enough lol. Its funny how restaurants stopped putting grease in your fries lije its going to make the whole menu, healthier! Lol. I just hope they never get rid of this nostalgic place! Good food and helpful courteous staff even though it was packed. 1/6/23 Got seated quickly and attended to right away. Wife tried the new strawberry French toast and they were nice and soft and yummy. The chicken fried steak has been good here every time so far. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We went in on New Years Day and was advised it would be a 45 min wait for food. It appeared that the whole cook staff had called in sick or whatever. They only had the manager cooking and the wait staff assisting with cooking between customers. We went back today to a cook light store manager and a cook. It was about half an hour wait with the cook staff still being swamped. Sometime ago I ordered biscuits and gravy and was disappointed that it was just a basic white gravy, this after ordering I noticed that the biscuits and gravy now had what looked like sausage gravy again. UPDATE! I have eaten here several times since I posted my comments and they have been corrected!! The food coming out of the kitchen is amazing! The wait staff is still awesome! So happy to have my old stand by back at 110%. Due to high turn over of staff, I have to leave this review, I used to eat here a lot. They cannot keep cooks and everyday was a surprise and a disappointment on a plate. I just cannot face the grill scraping on my plate again. Wait Staff is working hard to over come it. They were the reason I stayed so long. Management turns over faster then cook staff and refused to work weekends and holiday?!? The owner needs to park in the kitchen for at least a month. We've eaten at a lot of Denny's Restaurants in both Canada and the USA. Finding this one was a treat. Place had a cool retro feel. Great staff/service and food was great too. The servers were friendly. They sat us quickly and TBF they are short staffed. But I got my first cup of coffee and water & didn't see the server again till our food came a half hour after we ordered it. They weren't very busy at all. Then they forgot my wife's side order. TBF We reminded them and ended up with 2 side orders & they only charged us for 1. The Cobb Salad had large chunks of Brown lettuce (pics provided). I ordered Hash browns, they were over cooked by a lot. The Server didn't ask me what kind of toast I wanted.
