When you are on the road and not sure where to eat breakfast, go to Denny's. Denny's serve the same food wherever you go. What makes the difference is service. We went 2 days in a row and had excellent service from Jessica and Phillip. They both hustled, were congenial, and very attentive. Well done. This is a solid Dennys, they consistently have good food or they’re keen on making it right. Some servers are definitely cooler than others but I can’t say I’ve ever had a bad experience. Brought my son for brunch after he had gone to the dentist. He ordered a hot chocolate and told ne it was weird. I thought he was just being picky, but when I smelled it, it didn't smell right and when I tasted it, it did not taste like any hot chocolate that I've ever had. It was not good. Told the waitress, and she changed it for a different drink. After she brought our food she only came back once on her own to see if I needed a reorder. My cup of coffee was empty for about 20 minutes before I was able to get the attention of the hostess, and she brought the pot over. Then the waitress came over and asked if i wanted a reorder of my pancakes. Maybe they have their staff spread too thin with tables in both rooms. It's not that she wasn't working, but she would take an order or bring their food and drinks and not look at the other tables to see if they needed anything. I hadn't been to a Denny's in years, however I am so glad that this is where my Mother in law wanted to go!! Our service was great and the food was even better. I would typically leave a bite but I cleaned the plate, heck we both did!!🤣😂 I will most definitely will be back next time I am in town.
