Tyler a fantastic server during our dining. He was very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed his thoroughness in giving the presentation of the menu and his attentiveness throughout our dining experience. We were never lacking service. Such a pleasant time and the food was great. Love all of Chris S.’s stories!! Great atmosphere. Great food. Definitely would recommend!! The filet was one of the best we’ve had in awhile. The shrimp pasta had a great kick to it, but SO tasty. Restaurant is located inside a hotel and you have to pay h for parking, other than that it was amazing experience. Staff is knowledgeable of all menu items and wine pairings. Dean’s Italian Steakhouse located in the JW Marriott at 600 S College St, Charlotte, NC 28202 is a World Class great Steak Restaurant that also specializes in excellent Seafood too. It’s not a huge Restaurant, but big enough to hold a decent number of guests. Our server Q was excellent as was their Manager. The food was the star though - was tremendous!! I got the lobster Thermidor which was quite large (I ate only about half of it!) and my Wife got Lobster Tail and Pasta. Their Shrimp Cocktail which was 5 colossal size shrimp for $24 was a bargain - I’ve paid $10 a piece for Shrimp before that these were equally as good and almost as gigantic. Excellent macaroni and cheese, and the Bone marrow was also very good! Dessert was also excellent. This is truly a World Class Dining experience and I highly recommend it. Brianna was awesome! I enjoyed dinner right after work but before an event and decided to grab something close to both locations and Deans Italian Steakhouse was the perfect location. Nestled inside the JW Marriott, this beautiful restaurant offers ambiance, sophistication, and flavor! I arrived almost as soon as the restaurant opened and was seated immediately. I took in the sights and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Brianna greeted me immediately and took my order for beverages. I had my best set on Merlot but was informed there were other options as Merlot was not available. I ordered a different dry red suggested by Brianna, the montepeloso. I’m definitely a fan! The food was amazing. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Both me and my husbands steaks were cooked very well and the lemon pie was DELICIOUS, if you love lemon and the tartness of one you’ll LOVE theirs. All in all we had a wonderful anniversary dinner and can’t wait to go back! If you love a ribeye, Dean's is the place to be in Charlotte. Located in the JW Marriott in uptown, Dean's is an intimate dining experience that will not disappoint. The counter, adjacent to the bar, displays an array of baked goods that I'm sure are a hit, but we didn't get to try them. The servers and dapper bartenders, tapsters, mixologists, whatever you call them, were on point with the attire and amazing level of customer service. Our server, James S., was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We started the meal with the bread and butter, good-I did expect a more distinct flavor, based on other reviews. We also did the bone marrow-a new experience for me-served with a sweet and spicy sauce and toast points. My husband loved them. We also got the wedge salad. It was delicious-fresh, flavorful, and they chopped the salad up to make it easier to share, and put the bacon on the side. For entrees, my husband got the whole branzino, and remarked how good it was the whole time he ate. I got the ribeye-Pittsburgh style (hard sear), and it was hands down the best ribeye I've had in Charlotte. I've only been here for 2 years, but, listen, this steak was amazing. Tender, well seasoned, perfectly cooked...I ate it the next two days in steak salads. It was delicious! Sides are enough for 2 or more. We got the billionaire potato and Parmesan asparagus. They were both delicious. Fresh produce, well cooked, perfectly seasoned. And, as it was our anniversary, they gave us a complimentary piece of the signature limoncello pie. First, the gesture-so very nice. The pie was delicious as well! Dean's is a great choice for a casual night out or a fancy, romantic night out. No matter the occasion, the food is worth the trip! Jami was excellent. It was me and fiancé’s birthday outing, and she made us feel special, so personable and friendly. We ordered a dessert and she brought us a complimentary limoncello with a candle, her service is what will bring us back. The food and cocktails, wine, dessert were perfect.
