I have been visiting Spijkenisse for the past three weeks and I have stopped by De Krom several times during my stay. The spare ribs and double trouble burger were some of my favorites. However, what I liked most was the extremely friendly and warm hospitality from the servers and a great big shout out and thank you to Stephanie for always going out of her way to make each visit an enjoyable experience. Looks very popular restaurant, busy and the ambience is nice. Prices are ok, full course is available from 29Euros and has an international menu so you can choice from poke bowl to salmon or bbq grill. I do recommend be prepared to get a bottle of wine and enjoy the time to wait the food.

It was the 1st time I went there to take some food for take out on Tuesday (Sep, 21st, 2021). I got a chicken and fries. I've noticed the lady never used gloves: she threw away some old fries from the container, put fresh fries in the same container, then used some scoop to put the fries to the paper bag. I don't know if it was fries or bad chicken, but as the result I got poisoned for the next almost 3 days. I had horrible cramps and some bacterial indigestion for sure. I hope the owner of this place can notice my review and do something about the hygiene rules of his employees.
