It was an amazing experience to go and have dinner there. I made a reservation because it was my boyfriend’s birthday and they put on fireworks on his food and it was very special :) the staff is really nice and the food is amazing, we order two spareribs but I would recommend you buy one and then a different dish because the ribs are big. Wow, what incredible food. We shared a Flammkuchen as a starter and then had the most delicious Irish steak with a beautiful salad and chips and hubby had the Ribs, chips and salad which he couldn’t finish. Beautiful with a twist. I ordered 4 coffees to go, with milk, cappuccinos. The waiter confirmed several times they can add milk. I understood like they will make a cappuccino like i asked, so i asked where is the frothed milk. You can see in the pictures what they offered Small can milk. When i asked why they did not do a cappuccino i asked them to froth milk since they have a professional espresso machine, they said it is NOT possible to do it! I wanted to get over it and enjoy the coffee that was provided. However, just when preparing to rent a boat from them, when we were adding the canned milk, we were approached and asked “not to make a picnic over there”. And we were just adding milk in the wrong coffees they served, preparing to rent a boat from them. I explained the situation and said it is unacceptable what just happened with the coffees and now to be asked ‘not to make a picnic’ when we were just prepping the coffees they served, i find it totally unacceptable. I later understood that the guy that approached us was the owner, who was an arogant person, saying, and i quote “look how nice it is, you will go and rent MY Boats, do not give a bad review. I will give you free coffees.” End of quote. Of course we refused and started our journey in Giethoorn. Of course, the canals are amazing, stunningly beautiful. Wouldn’t have given a bad review for bad service, but i do give it for arrogance. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Beautiful restaurant right next to the canal. The food were incredible, it’s what you would expect to come out of Michelin star restaurant. Beautifully plated, depth of flavors from different ingredients, and all come together to delight your palate. Highly recommended if you are visiting Giethoorn. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I liked the menu bec it was one of few places with various options in Geithorn Ordered the salmon fillet and fish &chips The taste was great and the portions were great as well👍🏽 The service needed to be upgraded food came really late more than 1 hour after Appetizers and we were really hungry. Also the waitress needed to be a bit nicer. But the ambience was amazing, music was chill❤️ 👍🏽 and i had so much fun❤️ Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

There are many restaurants and cafes along the canal but this one is a 5 star experience. The chai latte was especially good but the coffee could be better . The cleanliness and the presentation is very nice as well as the ambiance . The service was polite and attentive. I loved the Apple strudel. Food is good and portions are generous, but the service is very abnormal. Because we order a few courses to try, there was not enough space on the table. The waiter just left the food on the chair and walk away. Other customer felt so impropriate that she demand them to do something. Finally, we are moved to a bigger table. Super nice place, right at the start of the Giethoorn experience. It’s located on the canaal but wherever you sit, the surroundings are amazing. Space for kids to look at the boats and ducks as well. Everything we had for lunch was delicious - soups, burgers, fish and chips. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked. The kids loved the food too. Texel beer on draft. Everything was incredibly delicious and the atmosphere was so enjoyable! I can definitely say this very easily BUT I stopped by the bar to just ask for tap water for the kid. and the pregnant woman at the bar told me in a very strange way to get water from the toilet. I found it very shameful for me to take water from the toilet for a child from such a business. and I was embarrassed to be told by a pregnant employee. Xx Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

Decent restaurant at the heart of Goethoorn.We went to have lunch.Seating is available outside and inside.Based on crowd, there can be larger wait times.Outside sofa seats are more usable only for drinks and snacks.We found the kip burger and the Irish beef steak pretty good.The pulled chicken burger was average.
