Unfortunately, after standing around for several minutes waiting with several other groups, and seeing other people who were seated before us, leaving, when no wait servers were taking their orders, I ordered a carryout. I don't know if there was a shift change, or there was some other problem. They were willing to seat people, but there was no one to take orders. I got quick service with my carryout. The meal was as good as always when I got home. Made a purchase in the gift shop. Would have enjoyed dining in as I always do. Good relaxing atmosphere, where I can wind down for lunch.

Had a good waiter this time and food came out in reasonable amount of time. I ordered build your own breakfast, eggs over easy, sausage patties biscuits & gravy all of which was delicious and pancakes. Unfortunately the pancakes were very thin and very oily. Couldn't eat them. Atmosphere is always same- chaotic, but expected.

Had a late lunch here. The hostess was rude about explaining the wait time. Then the service was very slow. The worker going back and forth to the kitchen cleaning tables was filthy and should have been given a clean uniform. My chicken tenders were not as ordered. The ‘manager’ came to my table and made me feel like a criminal because I was asking to have my order brought out correctly. He said the best he could do is give me a kid’s meal. That was fine with me. My first round of fries was horrible. The waitress apologized and did bring better fries. I had to ask twice for ketchup, and the chicken strips didn’t even have anything to dip them in. The whole restaurant seems poorly run and the servers were incompetent and rude. The food was lousy. Maybe Cracker Barrel should focus more on the quality of their food and service instead of all the junk they sell in the front of the restaurant.

Cracker Barrel - Belleville Disappointment: Long Wait Times and Missed Extras
While the quality of the food and value at Cracker Barrel is usually reliable, my recent experience at the Belleville location fell far short of the mark. The service was, unfortunately, the worst I've ever encountered at a Cracker Barrel.
Frustratingly lengthy wait times:
It took an unacceptable amount of time to be acknowledged and finally place an order, despite the restaurant not appearing overly crowded.
After ordering, the food arrived reasonably quickly, but we then waited an additional 10 minutes for silverware.
Forgetfulness plagued our service further. The waitress overlooked our bacon order entirely, and my wife's apple butter was also missing. By the time these arrived, our food was unfortunately cold.
Positives overshadowed by service lapses:
While the food's flavor and value were consistent with the expected Cracker Barrel experience, they were overshadowed by the service issues.
Even our bill checkout was delayed as the waitress "forgot" to charge us for the bacon, which again took an unnecessary amount of time to rectify.
Overall:
Though the taste of the food was fine, the long wait times, missing items, and general attentiveness lapses made for a frustrating and disappointing experience at this Cracker Barrel location. I hope this feedback serves as a reminder to the team that the quality of service plays a crucial role in the overall dining experience.

Grandpa's Country Fried Steak Breakfast
The food was good, although I realized you get much less food than in the past. It had been years since I had been to a Cracker Barrel.
Our waitress was VERY hurried, and we could tell she'd probably been cut because she couldn't WAIT to give us our check. The $5 take homes they advertise would've been great, but of COURSE they were out, save 1, which expires today. Thanks a lot. We did get a free app by downloading and signing up on their app, which was nice. Also had a cool glass of wine with edible glitter.
I'm not sure we will ever go back, and it's the only location near us.
It was basically an expensive Denny's.

Cracker Barrel has never disappointed me. I’ve only tried their breakfast. I get the egg sandwich (Colby cheese), eggs cooked over medium. With a side of steak tips. $14.09 total. Restrooms are clean and food comes out quick and hot.

Was very hot in the restaurant. We didn't see our server very much. The food was very good except for my girlfriends French fries ,which were not good at all. I had the chicken fried chicken with corn and sweet potato, which was very good. Would still recommend going to eat here. It did take over 30 minutes to get our meal.

Got the Mama's Pancake Breakfast with a side of the hash brown casserole and fried apples. Yes, I eat all of that in one sitting. That meal just makes me so happy inside. I love crispy edges around the buttery pancakes the most.

We ate here two evenings in a row when in the area recently. Fantastic waitress service on both days. Delicious food in big portions. On the first visit, we accidentally got charged for 3 ice teas instead of 1, but they fixed it at checkout with no issues.
