One of the best Cracker Barrel locations that I’ve been to. Very clean, great hot food and the best part (besides food) was our server. She had a great smile and wonderful personality. Very attentive and fast. She needs a raise or promotion because she might be young but she definitely acted very professional for her age. Worst experience will NEVER EVER return. Our non-waiter was worried about a table that come in after us. Had to pretty much beg for refills for our drinks but the 2 males we were with he kept them filled up. How dare we go to a restaurant wanting food and drinks. It's not a good night for Cracker Barrel. It took us about 20 minutes to get a table for two and an hour to get our food. While waiting for our food, we watched 5 different tables get up and walk out before ever being served. One gentleman was waiting to talk to the manager, but he was standing right in the doorway of the kitchen. The manager came out yelling at him to move and get out of the way. He inturn started yelling back with the manager, then turned and yelled for his family to leave. I felt bad for the kids because they were crying they were hungry. Our food was good, but I could tell my plate was plated in the kitchen wrong. I ordered a hamburg steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, and spiced apples. My daughter ordered a hamburger and a couple of sides as well. My plate had chunks of roast and about a fork full of mac and cheese. My guess is the kitchen was short staffed and very unorganized, which created a downfall for the dining experience. Service from our waitress was great. We came within an hour and a half of closing time so this must be taken into account A lot of the sides were not available and they had run out of soup but did have the grilled chicken fingers/wonderful! And wasn't told there was an up charge for the other side which was a salad I love the atmosphere of Cracker Barrel.
