Cook staff!! Amazing job! I don't think the people in the back get appreciated enough!! Food was done perfectly! Everyone was friendly! Clean environment!! The menu was fantastic. Service was spot on. Food came well prepared and tasted delicious. Zero complaints there. My only feedback is the cleanliness of the dining room. Visible dust and cobwebs. Bathrooms had ceiling coming down, peeling paint. Needs a good deep clean, makes me wonder the cleanliness back in the kitchen. I did very much enjoy my food and the service. May return but would love to see some care put into cleaning the place up and fixing the disrepair visible in guest spaces. Service was good, food was tasteless. I had the Cajun Duo, which is shrimp and tilapia over rice. The shrimp was good, tilapia had no taste, nor did rice. The sauce did not complement anything. I chose French fries and broccoli as my sides. French fries were lukewarm and limp. Broccoli was cooked well, but not seasoned at all. Our seat was close to the restroom which would have been okay except for a very strong odor of cleaner or disinfectant. I will not come here again. We visited Cotton Patch about 2 pm Saturday. My wife ordered the steak, and it was like jerky. I ordered the meat load, and it was dried out with no tomatoe gravey. The floor needs a good cleaning. The waiter was not trained very well, and didn't know what the food order should look like. This used to be a great place to eat. It's clearly gone down hill. Our service was terrific, and the food was delicious. I had a chicken fried steak and the garlic, mashed potatoes with white gravy. And I can never miss out on the squash casserole. Super delicious! The rolls and butter were plentiful, and we left there so full! Wasn't expecting such good food! Grilled shrimp were excellent. I am a seafood nut so I've had me a few shrimp. These were perfectly cooked and not over seasoned. 8 pieces of good sized shrimp plus good rice and fried okra. My server was awesome as well. Will be back. Before we talk food, a shout out to our server, Ireland. Despite being somewhat busy and having worked the lunch shift too, she was really attentive and so welcoming. I also need to drop in a conversation from another table. Their server told them he’d been at Cotton Patch before he was born. When his mom was pregnant she worked here! So cool. Now, to the food. Some of the best queso ever. I know that’s a bold statement but this brisket queso is downright craveable! Our entrees were a solid high scoring hit too. We had the chicken fried brisket and chicken fried steak. As a note, I told my better half the green beans so good they tasted like they came from the family reunion. For dessert, I couldn’t resist the Mama’s cake—yellow cake and cheesecake combo. It’s definitely rich (no surprise) but my was it was it tasty. If you are passing through or just need something different, this chain won’t disappoint.

This is the first time here. It was recommended by my step daughter. It was very good. Prices were reasonable and portions were just right. Unfortunately I couldn't eat everything I got. The buttered buns we got were so hot. Just out of the oven. DELICIOUS!!! We were celebrating our 20th anniversary! We definitely will be back next time we get here!! Ps...our server was Chase!! We were traveling through Denison today and had lunch at the Cotton Patch. They were very busy, but that caused no issues with service or food. The service was great, they take good care of their customers, the food was great and of great quality and presented well, the portions are excellent and the price is fair. All in all it was a great place and I recommend it highly and I will definitely be back. I got so distracted when the food was brought to us that I forgot to take pictures upon its arrival, so after we already started eating I remembered pictures, sorry about that. The food was great.

Let me start by saying my waiter Dillon, was very good. The wait time for our food was an hour. My food came out cold which I didn't understand considering the wait time. There was more staff then patrons. I wish I had a better experience but unfortunately I did not.
