PSA - You have to ask for the rolls! We sat down, received our drinks. I kept waiting for the rolls. After looking around I noticed no one had rolls. So I asked. I was told you have to ask for them now. Once the waiter brought out our rolls two other tables then asked for theirs. Which tells me people like the rolls but they don’t know to ask. I understand that they are reducing waste by having the customers ask but I think it should be the other way around, they should ask if you want rolls when they take your drink orders. Other than that, the food and Service has greatly improved at this location. We received our meal quickly and it was great with the exception that the mac and cheese could have been warmer. Overall it was great and we will be going back. Now I know to ask for the rolls! The server was nice but obviously dealing with a lot of tables. Only saw one other server so she definitely had her hands full. My food was good but not everything was hot, must have been waiting for a few minutes while the rest was assembled. I would return but maybe not during lunch. When I go to this restaurant,I am always excited 😊. Why, you may ask, well because of the hot and delicious rolls, they serve you with butter before you get your meal. They have one of the best chicken fried steaks I've ever eaten. The staff there is always friendly and smiling 😃. The price is pretty reasonable also. You will want to go back there again, just to smell the bread. Makes my heart sing with aroma pleasure. Definitely getting 5 stars all the way. While visiting my parent in Red Oak we went here for lunch in Waxahachie. The Country fried chicken was amazing. And the service was excellent. Our server Lindsey was very friendly and helpful. Hey Google people! This place was Ok! The food wasn't as good as I remember but it wasn't nasty. My family and I were out and about for the day and really needed some food and this place was in our area. My mom's fish was flavourless but since she's on a diet she said it was a sign from God 🤣. I had the chicken fried chicken with 3 sides that were small enough to consume in one bite😒 The margaritas tasted like a Canadian made Kool-aid for the first time😂 (jk. I love Canadians) My daughter looked at her food and decided to eat ketchup instead🤣 Our waitress was really nice though. Super sweet. I'm not going back to this location. I'll go to Cedar Hills location and see if they are still good. P.S. The fried mushrooms were a really good appetizer. Nice place. Clean and good atmosphere. People are awsome. Miya the waitress was just the right amount of attentiveness and frendly. MC the line cook did a great job. The food was great. Rolls were nice. The fried mushrooms were great. And for the main course chicken fried Brisket! It was still moist and flavorful even after frying. The gravy was great. I loved this little place!! Never even heard of it until I visited my friend last month! Very cozy atmosphere and the staff was super friendly! I ordered the Smoked Brisket Street Tacos and omgosh why have I never had brisket on tacos before?!?! Talk about brilliant!! I really wish we had a cotton Patch where I lived in Georgia so I could get more of these!! If you have never been here please make the time to stop and eat here! You won't regret it! I came here to have a nice lunch by myself to celebrate turning 39. I sat at the bar and that us an experience in itself. It was neat to see the back of house and front of house interact seamlessly. I didn't expect to be treated so well. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, the service was exceptional. I can't talk enough about the food and that Dr. Pepper cake was AMAZING!!! My server/bartender Chantel was so personable. She made my experience that much more enjoyable. I will be back!
