My expectations were low, and somehow this place still managed to disappoint. I hate to tear down a small business, but this place is just bad. Everything here tastes like it comes out of the freezer and then goes directly into the microwave or a deep fryer. If you enjoy calamari, for the love of everything please do not order it here. The only thing worth eating was the seafood boil, which is offered with a choice of Cajun, garlic butter, lemon pepper seasonings and four levels of spiciness. Those strong flavors successfully masked the low quality of the seafood. The best thing I can say about the food is that no one got sick afterwards, which I attribute to the fact that they serve nothing fresh or raw. If you can't order it in bulk from Sysco, this place ain't got it. Did I mention that the service was slow? The waitress didn't know the menu and disappeared after the orders were taken for so long I had to get up from the table and go find her to get water refills. The 2nd star is only because they were at least friendly and welcoming. The interior and atmosphere are shabby and cheap. The space used to be an Outback Steakhouse, and it still looks like one on the interior, only rode hard and hung up wet. Between the entrance and our table there were no fewer than four signs reminding us that an 18% gratuity was added for parties of six or more. One member of my party remarked that at least it didn't smell like seafood inside. A seafood restaurant that doesn't smell like seafood? I'll leave it to you to decide if that's a good thing or not. First time visit to Cincy Seafood was a slam dunk. Travis, the manager, greeted us and took us to our table. He answered our questions and was very nice. Kae, our server, was attentive and steered us in the right direction with our order. It was!’t too busy, on a Monday evening. Everything was clean and comfy. The food was fabulous and well priced. Ordered Combo #1- 1 lb snow crab legs, 1 lb headless shrimp, potatoes, corn and hush puppies. Everything was wonderful. Can’t wait to return to try other menu items! Great food and good value for your money. The food was delicious but I agree with other reviewers that the amount of garlic used is way way too much and over powers the taste of the seafood. Other than that, excellent service and food, large portions and the desserts were just as good. Recommended, but next time I'll ask if they can cut the garlic by half at least. Our first visit here, and we were happy we stopped in for supper. We had an attentive server, and she was very helpful as we looked over the menu. We all selected different fried items and trying to see a wide selection. Everything was sizzling hot and delicious. 10/10 will go back. I have zero complaints after my visit tonight. My family and I came on the later side of the evening. Frankly, I was worried I would get the bottom of the barrel [food & service] as is my general experience closer to closing time. I'm happy to report we received wonderful service and the food was even better. We ordered the kids chicken tender baskets (which were good enough to order myself) and 3 crab boils. Food came up quick, which was a pleasant and welcome surprise. The kids ended up splitting a boil and devoured it, rather than their chicken tenders and fries... which is why I know the tender baskets were good. 🤣 We had the Cajun boil, the Garlic Butter boil, and the Mixed boil (all seasoning flavors combined). Each was as good as the other. The place was also clean... the restroom even smelled good! Two things that could be considered cons: the calamari appetizer was way overcooked and the crab legs were SLIGHTY overcooked to the extent that the meat was hard to get out. All and all I had an experience worth 5 stars. I absolutely recommend and would return whenever i visit the area again. Myself and my family came in pretty early yesterday maybe around 2 and there was a pretty empty place. I don't understand why. The service was amazing. The food and the sauces are so great. We try treat ourselves to a luxury meal once a month and the manger was our service provider. I think it was christian it was a great experience and we wish this place to have better fulfillment. Thank you again for the great service and food. We were too full before we left. This place IS THE BEST SEAFOOD AROUND!!!! I truly felt like I was in Florida eating ocean fresh food !! My mother and I sat at the bar and the waitress was AMAZING! SO INFORMATIVE!!! I'll Deff come back !! We got the boil bags and WOW JUST WOW !!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We thought this was great! So happy to have in the area. Just wish less butter was used, the food is so good I just wished the flavor of that got a chance to shine a bit more. The level of butter makes me wanna do it once a year, and I’d rather do it once a week haha. Overall everything was really good. Service was great but they could definitely use more staff. Terrible. Lobster tail came out cold and with a piece of hair on it. Pretty sure it was from another plate that someone didn’t eat. Probably sat there for hours. The steak had a chemical taste on it like they were cleaning too close because we arrived at 945 which was close to closing time. The hostess was completely rude when we walked in. The place closes at 10:30 and we walked in at 9:45. She immediately gave a dirty look and said they’re closing soon so we’d have to hurry and was rude about it. Last problem was a group of teenagers acting wild in there. Loud and obnoxious. Play fighting and running around. Won’t be coming back. Worst money I spend this year so far. Fried pickles were the best I've ever had, and the seafood boil was good (even though the sauce was a little pasty). Also, the hot is hot, but still flavorful. We were happy with our food and found one bag to be enough for two people since we had an appetizer. The desserts tasted like frozen grocery store desserts, but not bad.
