Stopped by last night with my wife to try this place. Owner was there, chatted with him while the food was made. You can tell he has a passion for the food. Seems like a genuine person. Everything we had was delicious and fresh. He gave my girls a free cup of compot, which was also quite tasty. Will absolutely be returning to try everything else. Didn’t get the plov, but wish I did. First time trying Uzbek food, and I must say they’ve set the bar pretty high in my book. I got the pilov/plov and it was so good, especially the sauce that came on the side. I was looking for something interesting, different, and healthier than a pretzel. Well, I’ve passed this lunch truck many times and have always been intrigued. I finally stopped and this did not disappoint at all! Delicious rice/beef/carrot dish, chicken quesadilla, and a refreshing, real cherry beverage, called Compot. The rice dish would’ve been plenty to eat but I wanted to try a couple items, and I’m very happy that I did! Can’t wait to try the Lula (Lamb) next time!
