First time here…I inhaled a battered fish taco AND a chili verde pork dinner. Both were OUTSTANDING! Washed it down with a regular house margarita - also tasty. This is the second time we had eaten there. We had the buffet the first time and we were disappointed. We were used to a Mexican buffet in Montesano WA that was a better price and offered more selections. This time we ordered off the menu and had a good meal. Service was great. In a nearby hotel, walked over to restaurant. Wait staff was friendly. Got the 1946 chicken chimichanga. Since it doesn't come with rice, had to pay extra. House Margarita was delicious. Chips were warm & salsa. WiFi was speedy. Loved the family pictures. 1st visit to Chretin’s Mexican Restaurant. It is conveniently located near I-8 and we were able to be seated quickly during dinner. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. Chretin’s is a typical family style Mexican restaurant, great for a family dinner or date night. I had the mixed fajitas and my only complaint was that I could’ve used a 4th tortilla. The chips and salsa were good. The outdoor patio could be a good option as long as the temperature isn’t too hot. I would visit again if in the area. Soooooo good. I hate that I'm visiting. I wish I can take this while restaurant back to NC with me lol. The prices were great. The atmosphere was amazing. The place was nice and clean. The customer service was outstanding. Surrounded by plenty of hotels and motels. I had the Monday special- Chile Verde with pork. Pork was lean and plentiful. Very tasty. Salsa good, little bite. My only complaint and minor at that was chips were pretty hard or crunchy. This was my first visit at Chretin's Mex restaurant. They've got a great menu selection. My mom had the caldo de rez (beef soup), I had menudo, my wife had carne asada (grilled beef) tacos. My sister had tacitos and my brother in law had beef tacos. Plus there's a cart rolling around where they're offering guacamole. We got a large guac. Everything was super delicious. I'd consider the soup servings were in a medium size bowl. My only critique is, I would have liked it if the tripe meat in the menudo was cut in smaller bite sizes.
