Rice is undercooked and weirdly salty. I know chipotle’s quality can vary from location to location but even at some of the worst chipotles I’ve been to I have never got rice this bad. Portion sizes were inconsistent certain ingredients I got more of than I normally am served and other ingredients they skimped on even after asking for extra. There were also a couple of ingredients that were burnt in my bowl, I enjoy a nice char but these were way past that.
I would have been willing to look past the subpar food and give this location a second chance if it wasn’t for the fact that they didn’t hand me a fork or spoon and there was none available in the dining room. They have like 6 containers for utensils and all were empty which means they have probably been out of them for days. If they can’t be bothered to refill their utensils it makes you wonder what else they aren’t doing.
The location down the street is 10 times better than this one.
Edit: I will give them credit on one thing they do not have roaches unlike recent reviews have mentioned. I didn’t see any bugs in the store and the picture someone else posted of a “roach” was clearly not a roach, maybe some type of beetle but looks nothing like a roach.

I am from Montgomery County & when you ask for extra meat (you’re paying for it) , they are still stingy as hell) The Laurel location, Hands down is the best Chipotle in Maryland . They are very professional, give you exactly what you ask for and although there may be a long (dinner) line , they still provide quick service so it’s not a long wait at all. Enjoy!

Burrito Bowl Sofrita
My daughter and I came here for lunch. The tables were filthy, making it impossible to dine in. I also ordered a beverage--all of the drinks were empty with the exception of Lemonade and Watermelon Limeade, which was low and almost empty (shown below). The steak was cooked too long which made it tough, the black beans were bland with no flavor, and hardly no selection of organic flavored drinks. Lastly, employees were trying to give me HALF of the standard portion size for our quesadilla sides. The whole experience was exhausting to say the least. Nevertheless, I won't come back to this location again. I wish I would've read the reviews before I came and wasted my money. I later read how previous customers shared their grievances about employees not filling the food pockets for the sides, and the cafeteria area being filthy and roach infested. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, HEALTH, OR MONEY!!!!

Went on Wednesday 1/31/2024 with my family. My daughter went to the fountain to get lemonade and a roach came out of the fountain and into her cup. I went and told management and they did not shut the fountain down and quickly gave me a bottled drink instead. DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!
I recently visited Chipotle and had a less-than-ideal experience. I ordered a bowl with half chicken and half steak, specifying my preference clearly. The initial portion from the first lady seemed satisfactory, but things took a turn when my bowl reached the second station.
The older lady handling my order appeared dissatisfied with the portion size and proceeded to add my sides. When I requested queso, both in English and Spanish, she overlooked it not once, but twice. To my surprise, I was charged extra for the meat portion without any prior notification.
I want to emphasize that the issue isn't the portion size or the $3 for the extra meat, as that's not my concern. My frustration lies in being charged extra when I explicitly requested and expected half-and-half portions. This lack of transparency and respectful communication left me disappointed.
While I couldn't obtain the names of the staff involved, the experience prompts me to reconsider returning to this Chipotle location. It's not about the extra cost; it's about the principle of honest and considerate customer service, which I believe was lacking in this instance.
