My favorite local spot for Chinese take-out! The food has always been consistently good! Chinese-American food has often had a heaviness to it but I find it less at China Wok Holley. I'm not sure if they cook to order but it sure does taste like it! Some reviews mention that the woman is rude. I've never experienced that. I was just there a few hours ago and she was very nice. There could be a bit of a language barrier and/or customer service can be very different within other cultures so I try to be mindful about those possibilities. In America, we put much emphasis on customer service. In other countries, a server may come up to your table with "what do you want". That really doesn't fly here in America but I am going into a restaurant where I am aware of the cultural/language difference. At times, I have called and it will go straight to voicemail even though according to the hours on Google they should be open. I've never looked at the hours in their window though to see if maybe they have changed hours. It's a small town and I believe they have children so although I feel disappointed that I can't order a meal, it's not really a big deal. Other times, they are on vacation for a month or so. My advice is to call but have a backup lunch/dinner plan just in case they are not open for whatever reason. The inside isn't much to look at. It looks run down but doesn't appear dirty. I've been ordering from them for about 8 years now and have never found anything concerning in my food (not even a stray hair). Very very rude. Super expensive!!! I can deal with the price if the food was good but it was nothing to write home about. I just can not get over how rude the owners are. 1 thing I will say is that a lot of people leave reviews commenting on their children being in their restaurant all day long. My kids go to school with them, they live right upstairs from their restaurant, their children are HIGH HONOR ROLL students, very well behaved, very polite & respectful. They were raised right by very good parents. Even though they don't know how to treat their American customers, that young couple are very good parents. So please let's stop commenting on the kids and making it sound like they are neglected because I know for a fact they are NOT! I DO STAND BY ON THE RUDENESS THO but I also understand that it's part of their culture & how they were raised.

Their food has always been good, if you can get your order in. I called, asked to place an order, there was silence and they then hung up on me. I hate saying this about a small family business, but this isn't a one time thing anymore, they more often than not come off as irritated and unwelcoming. I hope things improve eventually, they made Holley better.

Updated Review: Cultural differences or not, you're rude on the phone when you actually answer and don't hang up on people. Also, it's not fair your poor kids are stuck in that restaurant hour after hour, bored. I feel bad for them. I hope they are turning into far more pleasant people than you. Don't start a business that requires customer service if you're going to be a jerk. The food is good, but not worth the icy, rude owners. Taking away 2 stars. Always amazing food and fast service. Forgot an item, definitely double check your whole order is there if you order several things. Otherwise very pleased!

Food was decent considering where you are.... Hard to find "great" Chinese food. Walked in and ordered takeout. Crab rangoons were a bit subpar, but eggrolls and fried rice were good. Will return

I'm from Walworth, NY and happened to be in the area and starving. I specifically picked this placed based off of their star review... Everything was horrible, from the rude lady who answered the phone, to the quality of my food. Thank God it is cheap because they filled my to-go containers only about 50%. Lady continued to be rude when I got there to pay and barely sad 2 words to me. Won't ever be coming back here again and I'll pick some place else if I'm ever back around.

If you want good Chinese food and someone pleasant to wait on you - go someplace else because this isn't the place. When they first opened food was good, last two times not so good. Not giving them a 3rd chance.

Their customer service was horrible. While I was placing my order she gave attitude and eyes. I ordered a fried chicken wings combo and the chicken was extremely soaked and the rice was extremely hard. The rice looked like it was old, it had a different colored rices and the chicken smelled nasty after a few minutes after I decided to stop eating it. Besides that the egg roll was small than usual and had anything inside of it, when I asked for a pork egg roll. Overall, it was not a great experience at all.

Our first time there. We had been wanting some Chinese food so I asked at work and they said that China Wok was good. So we tried it and we agree. We got a large Beef with Broccoli, a large Vegetable Fried Rice, 2 orders of Spring Rolls. It was inexpensive and very good. Thank you so very much for a wonderful meal.

Best Chinese food around! It is always fresh and very tasty. I decided to try a bunch of things I have never tried before and I am happy I did! The beef sticks are ALWAYS amazing but the moo shu, the ribs, and fried dumplings were very good too. They also make the best soy sauce I have ever tasted...it has to be homemade. I love to support a local business and this one deserves our support.
