The Champs Chicken is Located inside the Food Fair Market in Mound City KS...as a Cooked Food Service...also Located inside the Pleasanton KS Food Fair Market...It Allows Customers to Purchase Hot Food to Go...Both Champs Chicken Locations Serve Chicken and Sides such as Mash Potato's...Green Beans...Corn...And Biscuits ...Gravy...Potato Salad and Side's...The Staff is Hardworking and We'll Versed in Chicken Prep and Cooking...The Food is Equal if Not Greater than..Stores like Popeyes and KFC...The Plus too Purchasing Food at Champs is that The Locations being Inside a Full Grocery Mart allow You too Shop for Other Items that You May Need for Your Lunch or Dinners without Stopping Some Where Else...Both Pleasanton and Mound City KS have Very Little Hot Food Business's and Residents of Both Must Drive at Least 20 Miles to Access Hot Food...So they are a Needed and Valuable Asset too Both Small Towns...The Meals are Quality and Cost is Medium to High but...such is the Way of Small Towns in the Midwest...Compared too the Prices of Fast Food in this Part of the Country ...It is a Bargain...Food Fair also Smokes and Barbecues Ribs and Pork too Provide Hot Meals for the Many Railroad ...Energy...County and Highway Service Workers ...I Do Believe that Kansas EBT is Not Allowed as Payment for these Services...I Would Contact Stores Before Trying too Purchase Hot Food with EBT Cards...These Business's are Military Respectful and PTSD Freindly... I love the fried chicken, the variety of creative foods the cooks make, snd the themed days. The chicken is always juicy and tender. The fried mushrooms and crispitos are to die for!
